Default Inquiries for the ladies (and possibly dudes) in S&A

Two questions:

1. Do you pluck, or shave your underarms? Which is better, in your opinion? I think shaving is a lot faster, however plucking seems more permanent (I think).

2. (I am assuming that you use sunscreen, everybody should) Do you ever have this problem where the sunscreen runs into your eyes and it irritates them (this happened to me many times when I was driving on the highway, my eyes started watering and it was very dangerous), if yes, how do you get around it? Do you simply avoid applying sunscreen to the eye areas? Or do you use a foundation with sunscreen already in it....

Thanks.

I shave my armpits, the thought of plucking them sounds...painful.

I don't generally put sunscreen on around my eyes, I put it on the places that get burnt most like my nose and cheeks. But, I don't wear sunscreen all the time, just when I'm out at the barn or am working a horse in an outdoor arena.

the skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most sensitive to sunlight

if you don't take care of it properly it will wrinkle and age really fast

that's why i always put sunscreen on it

So does the sun though so you're kind of screwed either way. You could always buy sunscreen at a natural foods store though.

I guess. I'd rather have just cancer than cancer and sun burns.

i don't get it - how is this s&a?

1. shave. don't pluck, that's silly. wax if you want, but get someone to do it because it'd hurt a lot.
2. get a sunscreen that's formulated for your face. it doesn't sting as much.

I find a lot of girls who don't shave their armpits/vagina's exotic and feminine in a sexy sort of way. Doesn't work for asian chicks though.

It's zinc.

It's not going to cause cancer. That's total bullshit.

My underarms get waxed and I only need it doing once a month or more that way. I get everything waxed off actually, its the best way of doing things if you're unhairy naturally.

You need to use a sunscreen specifically for your face which is suitable for going around the eye. Ones for body will certainly irritate your eyes as the skin there is so delicate.

Clinique do one for the face called City Block and comes in a variety of strengths up to 40. It's oil free and you can use it around the eyes.
I use Chanels 50+ UV face protection which is also suitable for application around the eye. I like it as you don't need alot of it for it to be effective.

You'll be sexy either way. Don't go to the trouble if you don't want to.
