I'm probably getting an alcohol themed one at some point. I haven't really had an 'intimate' relationship with any other substances that would be worthy of getting a tattoo.

I should but a THC molecule somewhere on me, no nevermind. It'd be badass, but I'd totally regret it later.

Re: Drug Tattoos
I'd worry that if our government suddenly became all totalitarian or something (and was against drug use), that it'd come up in a physical examination and I'd be vaporized for previously branding myself a "rebel" in my youth, or something...
Granted it's not very realistic, and I could just be really esoteric or vague about the design of my tattoo, but still...

I think that if I got that tattooed permanently into my skin, I would seriously regret it...
It's not even very aesthetic, if I was getting a tattoo I'd at least want it to look cool.

Trust me, don't do it. I'm not saying it because I'm a mean-spirited dick to likes to crush other people's dreams. I say this because it is a bad idea. I mean, think... it's permanent, if you're going to be stuck with something for life, you could do way better (ie: not some amateurish drawing alluding to some online forum you used to post on, and that you may very well lose interest in, or that may become obsolete in a few years time...) I mean, even if you're set on sticking with a similar theme (totse and BLTC) you could still do far better (as in, more clever or a better design or something... that really looks quite shitty, and it doesn't even have much wit or cleverness going for it, either). And even that I wouldn't recommend (sticking with the totse theme).
Plus, any outside observer (say, a girlfriend) will either laugh at you for it, or just be just like "what is that shit?" and then lose respect for you when you explain it's supposed significance.
Word tattoos in general are pretty lame, IMO. Except very special circumstances (say, a saying or mantra that encapsulates your world philosophy or something, and that you know won't be subject to change a few years down the line, or something with an equal depth of meaning or personal significance).
Totse related tattoos definitely do not fall within this very special exception to the "word tattoos being lame/ a bad idea" rule.

Re: Drug Tattoos
Well your opinions are appreciated. It's not like I'm running out the door right now to go get it, either. Still thinking really I 'spose. However I will end up with some sort of totse related tattoo, regardless of what people may think about it. My only other tattoo is a big heart with the letters SP in it. SP also happens to be my initials, but it doesn't stand for that. I'm asked if that's what it means all the time, and asked why the heart. I don't give a fuck what people think. If I'm getting some put on my skin forever, it is obviously because I wanted it. And there is obviously some reason I want it. I won't regret it, and I promise you I won't give a fuck what anyone thinks of it. And if I do regret it one day, oh well. It's just skin. It'll come off after I'm dead, and then I won't have to worry about it anymore. And that's only about 50 or 60 years off, tops. I'll be fine.
But again, your opinions are appreciated. That's why I asked.

Then go for it, dude. I really don't care how you rationalize your decision, or how well you think you have this thought out. I can't see how any sane individual wouldn't eventually regret it. It reeks of lameness on so many levels.

Re: Drug Tattoos
my tat has the date 6-10-06 which is when i first started smoking weed.
but it goes deeper, i got in trouble that night and realized the "friends" i had weren't really my friends if they'd roll over on me and i made real friends that have done more for me in the last 2 years than the others did in 16
i have completely made my night better and i am actually a happy person all because of that night.
it isn't completely drug related but it's something.

One of my friends has a crest tattooed on his left forearm. It's divided into four sections and in one theres pills, in one a razor blade, and I forget what's in the other two. It's gotta be one of the coolest tattoos I've ever seen.

Throughout my time in high school, ecstasy use has exploded at my school. To the point where people from neighboring schools know us as kids that love to roll.
For this reason, I want to get a "blue griffin" tab tattooed on me somewhere. Meaning behind it being that blue is our main school color, and our mascot is the griffin.
I think it's a great idea, I just don't know where to get it or how big yet.

Other than the Cobranaut tattoo I was thinking of getting a pill bottle on my theigh with all my favorite pills pouring out. Or this on my innner arm

true true
i have a cross on one arm & im going to get a cresent star on the other... both symbolizing my fascination and respect but at the same time it also has another meaning in it. That the ideas of Islam and Christanity can cross borders but shouldn't be taken so fundamentally. If it were than it would be taboo to get a tatoo of two religions that nesessarily don't function well together. (and also the "act" of getting a tattoo would be taboo in itself) Like certain things in life (science, theology, etc..) it is good to learn but also question its true valdility because in the end how much do we really know?
EDIT: ohh and if I were to tat anything drug related on my body it would be for bud. just because bud rules over all even if its not as satifying as op's

That'd be a really tacky and cliche tattoo if you were an IV drug user, but the fact that you aren't just makes it an attention-whore, poseur tattoo.
