Last night i tried Codeine after thinking about it for many days. I took 14 30mg pills. 420mg
I crushed them and parachuted them.

What exactly was i supposed to feel? i felt slight relaxation when i was lying down. And a bit happier, i didn't feel a significant change though.


5.20 PM - Paracuted 9 pills
6.20 PM - Paracuted the remaining 5 pills

Codeine has a recreational ceiling os 200mg, so you just wasted 220mg. but codeine is really weak so if you have any tolerance at all you wouldnt have felt it. sounds like you got what you should expect though, next time try having a beer, smoking a few cigs, and maybe a soma or something to potenate.

Ceiling effect means that your liver can metabolize only so much at once. Your liver can only metabolize 200mgs(i thought it was 400mgs) at one time so you must wait 2 hours to redose if you took a ceiling dose.

The recreational dose of codeine is between 60 mg and 400 mg; the liver cannot metabolize any more than that amount at once. This is also the reason for which the entire dose should be taken at one time and at least two hours allowed between doses.This is why i took it all. I thought 9 would be sufficient in the first hour but i couldn't feel anything, so i took the other 5 and then had a lie down and i could feel a slight change.

im pretty sure i got 200mg of totse, so it could easily be wrong. does anyone have a link thats more credible that wikipedia?

Codeine is shit. The only thing I've ever gotten was a massive headrush followed by a blackout and then sleeping for 27 hours.

I know from experience that the ceiling dose is certainly not 200mg, 400mg is very believable. Also whenever I dose my codeine at 2 different times (even if it's only like 1/2 hour) I feel significantly less than if I took it all at once, almost like the extra dose did nothing.

Only time I took codeine was when my friend had a couple extra's after getting some dental work done. (Fucking wisdom teeth removed and didn't even get 5/500 Hydros. ) He gave me 5 little round tabs (Not sure of the actual dose per. tab 50mg? More? Who knows?! ) and I took all five before before smoking a bowl and I got a lot more out of it than I expected.
