Drugs, and maturity.
This is my first thread in a long time.
So, seeing as I just recently turned 18, I was pondering my existence and wondering how I was doing with life.
I came to the conclusion that, I have become a well rounded drug user. By well rounded I mean mature. I think I dabbled in drugs in a respectively good order. I started smoking weed for a year or so, doing as much so as possible, then came the "dex" :p That I did a lot. That was my first taste of a real addiction. While I did DXM I also dabbled in strong opiates and other drugs. This is what I think of as my blown out phase. So I gave myself two years of that. Then I got a sense of responsibility. I stopped doing DXM completely, and spaced out highly addictive drugs between large periods of time.
Anyway, but its not like I did all the drugs, I have many more to still try. A day or two ago, I finally got my hands on some LSD. I felt like I knew myself well enough to enjoy that substance to it's true potential. If I had tried that when I was younger, I think it could have impacted me negatively I would bet.
So that being said, the only think I do relatively often is smoke weed, and shit I've always done that.
I dont feel like I have any problems. I have a really great girlfriend, she doesn't mind the pace that I do drugs, and I dont mind the pace I do drugs. I like sobriety just as much as I like being high. (sometimes).
I feel like I actually have a plan, but there really isn't a single monkey on my back.
Now, BLTC, do you?

Re: Drugs, and maturity.
I'm happy that I got the chance to experience all different types of perceptions, but you shouldn't use it to take you away from reality.
I would have never realized how much family means if I never did drugs.
Moral of the story:
I joined the military and now live in Japan. I'm 18 btw.
