Default Growing the magic plant

just 3 short questions.

I got 5 seeds today of some good stuff and I wanted to grow me a few little plants in this very abandoned wood lot nearby. this stuff is just for personal use because stuff around here is way too expensive.

It is the end of may, and although growing season has technically passed, I live in flordia where the sun is shining and plants grow quick.

If properly taken care of

can I grow my crop still even though it is a little late?
,
of the 5 seeds how many do you think will become full healthy plants?
, and
are the males completely useless? If I move them away from the females at the right time and keep the females safe, are the males still worth keeping or are they utterly useless?

Wrong spot again man. Try TGO.

BTW: It's almost impossible to say how many plants you'll get from those seeds. The males you want FAR away from the females / dead to make sure they don't fuck. You should be fine growing in Florida. Weed isn't picky it'll grow anywhere with half decent conditions. Obviously better is a better yield.

Oh, and isn't Florida really uptight about growing?

If you're talking about cannabis then you have plenty of time. The plants won't be as large as they could be if you started earlier but with only 4 plants it doesn't matter anyway. They could just be a strain that doesn't require long vegetative stage, so again it doesn't matter. Just grow them...... And keep a male to pollinate the females so you'll save some of your "good"(lol) seeds. If you don't keep a male you can clone during vegetative or induce hermaphrodism to get seeds. People may tell you that hermaphrodism is an unwanted trait and that you should kill all hermaphrodites but if they tell you that they don't actually have any experience with growing/breeding. Florida is an excellent place to be for growing healthy potent plants since you're near the equator..(More UVB).... Most of the classic landrace sativa strains are minimally hermaphroditic. Which is a good thing for the plant but you can breed that out of them pretty easily if you want. You may get about 3 seeds per plant if you have a minimally hermaphroditic strain. Breeding isn't as complicated as people would have you believe either. You will not get much out of that, you'll get about an ounce at most I'm guessing. Unless you really know your stuff, and you don't. But you can learn pretty quick.

Alright, So I can get by and have myself a little homemade dessert in 2 and a half months.

What'd you hear about FL being tight on growing?

One more thing, a lot of the bud people buy that they think is good may have lost a lot of its trichomes and it usually isn't very fresh. Yours will be fresh when you harvest and you can take care to not break off too many trichomes. When you break it up to roll it, you may notice a yellowish goldish dust on your finger after rubbing up the remaining crumbs to put into the rolling paper, that's the glandular capitate stalked trichomes, they contain the most THC. You can examine those close up with a 10$ microscope from radioshack. Feel free to ask anything else here about growing, I'll try to answer it if I can. I think people should be allowed to ask this kind of stuff in this forum. I also think we should have a cannabis subforum. But even if we had that we should still be able to post about this stuff here.

I believe it's in July, but our great state is going to start pressing charges to the max for growing. In July legislature is supposed to put new laws in that give minimum sentencing for certain things.

24+ plants, 15 years.
Gun in the house, 5 years.
Child in the house, 5 years.

Not good for us down here at all.

Not to mention "Operation D Day" that went down last month, took out almost 200 grow houses in ONE DAY!

Don't grow outdoors either, stealth grows outdoors not on your own property do NOT work out.
