I broke my brand spankin' new bowl the other night.

It's repairable, in a sense that it can be filed down and used.

Anyone know how to do it? What tools/techniques do you need to use?

Also, I never realised how small weed bowls tend to be. I use a tobacco pipe for it, the bowl's not ridiculously huge but it can hold just under a gram if I stuff it. I rarely do though.

What part did you break/crack? Unless it's some crazy ass heady one-of-a-kind piece I'd just buy another one. It's probably gonna be a ton easier...effort wise.

I ain't ready to let Ruca die. I've got nothin' better to do than file down my bowl, I am just unsure of how to properly do it.

o o = designs, swirlies, two bulges basically.

It broke at the last bulge. It was a pretty good sized bowl, now it's just going to be tiny.

just file the sharp edges in the center until smoth then get some gorilla or super glue and then glue back togther. let dry for like 30 mins just to be safe then smoke.

if its glass heat the sharp edges with a torch until its glowing red then they will round over and become smooth again.

Yeah, sounds to me like it's not broken at all... I've never heard of anyone "filing down" glass. To me that sounds pretty moronic and I definitely don't think it would work. With glass, it needs to be re-torched. Heat it until it's glowing, re-shape it, then put it in a slow cooling kiln to let it set properly or it'll REALLY break. If you can't do that stuff, buy a new pipe. Judging on your comments and this thread, I'm going to assume you're probably 15 and live with your parents. This leads me to believe that this is probably nothing more than a ~30 buck pipe. Buy a new one if you can't properly do what it takes to fix your piece... Well... Honestly, to me it doesn’t sound like it really NEEDS fixing. I could be wrong; I don't know where you said it was chipped or whatever bullshit... But you could probably use it as is even with the chip or crack or whatever it is. One last word of advice, if you COULD file glass down... would you really want to... and then SMOKE from it? MMmmmmmm thousands of tiny particles of glass being inhaled... good times...

since you're asking what we'd do, i'd use my dremel with either a diamond dust bit or another hard metal bit. i'd go really slowww, and smooth it out to the point that i want.

i'd recommend something like that if you have a dremel, and if you don't, and you ever do any DIY projects, i'd say get one.
