Last organised rave I went to I was at the front of the line and received a rather careful search from the bouncer. He went through literally everything even the rim of my hat where I had sensibly hidden a bag of speed and some pills. He saw the pills and speed and instantly put the hat back on my head, also found the grinder in my bag and asked what it was to which I replied that I had been having a smoke with my mate before I came and it was empty now. Also found the weed in my shoe but left it. Strange thing is he took an unopened bottle of water out of my bag and threw it in the drug amnesty bin and a can of beer off my friend. Almost every single person at the rave was on E or other substances and at £4 for a can of beer nobody was drinking! I might have been lucky but as another poster has said, half of it is probably to cover their backs and they realise that they cant stop drug use regardless... Either that or maybe the bouncer was a raver himself but I guess I was lucky.

Other festivals I have been to I have hidden weed, other drugs in an empty can and spray paint in the middle of a re-sealed beer crate (they arent going to open a crate and root through it.) Those Fake hollowed out openable security baked bean tins work pretty well if you are taking food in, or put it in with your tent/sleeping bag I take it you are camping? Failing that put it in your bag, hat, sock, underwear, behind a large belt buckle, taped to your gooch or up your arse...

Use some common sense hiding shit, this is a music festival... They aren't going to thoroughly search every single person when there are thousands to go through and most of the security don't care as long as its obviously personal and not for dealing.
