I think I pissed her off. Help me out ladies...
I have a feeling I get carried away whenever I start making a thread, so I'll make this short.
I invited my gf to hang out with a friend of mine last night, I thought it would be an opportunity for them to get better accquainted. However, instead of just chilling at his house we had to drive his brother to some party in east bumfuck; the car ride was filled arguments that pretty much stemmed from me and my gf having different mind sets than my friend and his brother (who is kind of a douchebag).
So throughout the night she seemed somewhat agitated, but whenever I asked her what's up she said she was fine. Whenever I apologized for something I may have done she said there was nothing I needed to apologize for- which set off the signal that something was wrong.
So the night went on, less arguments insued and she still seemed mad about something. I dropped her off, made sure that she wasn't mad one last time then we went on our way.
Later that night (I know it's shady) I messaged her best friend (who slept over) on Facebook, asking her if she seemed pissed at all. Two things came out of this 1. her friend said "yep. think." and 2. my gf found out (best friends, go figure). She wasn't all that pissed, but she's still keeping something from me and I want to fix it.
So ladies, do you tend to do things like that? Mask anger to make less of a hassle?
And then again, why would she say she's alright when she's really not?

Re: I think I pissed her off. Help me out ladies...
There could be many reasons why she was silent, a few I can think of is that maybe she saw your friend was a douchebag and was a little upset that you like douchebags. Or maybe she was a little upset, but when you probed her she withdrew to test you (really...really..really common).
But whatever the reason is, you didn't do anything wrong. It's nothing to worry about. There is a universal solution to this pissed off "nothing's wrong". Ask once, if she says nothings wrong ask "This will be the last time I ask you, is there anyting bothering you?"..Then completely drop it and dont ask again. Then when you talk, do it like nothing is different. When things are starting to become scale she'll feel like an ass because she's doing it. She'll fix her behavior sooner or later, whether it be half an hour or a few days.
Right now for your situation I'd say no contact for a few days, let her re initiate it. If you keep probing her she'll just withdraw more. Then next time it happens call her out on it
How long you've been together?

That makes me feel a bit better. :)
I'm going to see her later tonight, so I'm guessing everything will be fine by the time I leave- we need some alone time.
We've been together for two months so far- I know we both love each other but our group of friends are quite different. Her friends are all girly girls and average guys, my friends are all art students and musicians- generally people that are passionate about something. She says that her friends like me, and I know my friend's do- both groups say we're really cute together.
And it's just this particular friend that could potentially make her mad- he's a conservative republican and they can never agree on anything- though they argued rationally. It was really his brother that probably pissed her off, cuz she's bi and he kept using 'gay' in a negative context- even after she told him that she thought it was offensive.
I wish I had thought of the 'this is the last time I'm going to ask you' bit, I had done *something* like that before when I thought a friend was messing with me. But it'd be kinda late for me to bring that up now.
Thanks for your input. :)

Tell your stupid girlfriend the term has absolutely nothing to do with homosexuality. Just like the N, it describes.

I just skimmed over it, but from what I gathered you invited her to chill with you and your friends, but in doing so you dragged her along to a party...that was not in the cards she's probably pissed that instead of having a chill night you decided to go somewhere else to party...quit being a douche to your girl

We didn't actually go to a party- me, her and my friend went out to dinner somewhere near by. And with the exception to that night I am anything BUT a douche to her.
In any case, seeing her earlier got things back to normal. We ate dinner, took a walk then spent the rest of the evening watching movies and just chilling. :)

Just forget about it. Women do these things all the time. Forget it happened and continue normal life.

Women get pissed at the little things all the time and say they're fine when they're really not just to make guys start freaking out about what they could have possibly done wrong. Next time she gets pissed over little things get pissed at her , and when she asks you if you're ok, say you're fine. ;)
