He did love me the way I loved him. He talked about how I was the first person he ever truly loved. How he wanted to grow old with me. And how he wanted to live together with me eventually. About having children even..

I'm going to be thorough and honest here. I've been in situations where I've been so in love with someone that I wanted to rip my heart out and throw it against the wall. But after 2 years of being in love with the same girl... it never happened. I learned to come to terms with it and accept it.
