Default Dealing w/ Drama and Downs in a Relationship

I've only been in two serious relationships.

The first one was good for 2months and then the bitch started kicking up mad drama. I think she was testing me or something, because her drama just pissed me off and then she bailed because of my "habitual drug use"

My next relationship:

It is going really, really well, way better then the first girl.

She is now kicking up drama. Same fucking shit. Shit that doesn't matter AT ALL. For example, she keeps telling me she has these dreams of me cheating on her. When we were younger (4-5 years ago) I told her that I would only go for "blonde hair blue eyed bitches" and wouldn't touch anything else. 4-5 years later, she remembers this and asks me why I'm with her (brown on brown). I'm like ... I'm moar open minded now and I'm not picky. She tells me later when she's drunk or on ecstasy that she feels like I lowered my standards to her and I'm calling her unattractive or something.

Obviously she doesn't feel this way. No one is that fucking stupid. She is doing this to start drama fo sho.

I'm thinking the next time she tries to pull any bullshit that I tell her "Listen, bitch, I'm not down for this piece of shit drama your trying to start w/ me, don't bring it up or get the fuck out"

The problem is: this is a huge bluff, because she is essential in my life atm.

She does things that she know will piss me off. For example, I was texting her today when she was at her slutty ass friend's house who is a constant alcoholic. I told my girl that she can't drink w/o me (I'm not aloud to use a certain drug w/o her either) before this. We texted a few times where she responded w/in 1 minute each time. Then I bring up the whole dont drink babe im worried thing. She then doesn't respond for 20 minutes.

Obviously, she was trying to get me to percieve that that was exactly what she was doing.

What the fuck? How am I supposed to deal w/ this shit?

I feel like all girls do this too, I see it in any early relationship.

How do you deal w/ the drama?
How do you deal w/ the downs? By downs I mean where the relationship feels like it could be falling apart. How do you get it back?

It depends. It really depends.

I'm with my GF (I'm 18, first GF, first kiss, sex, etc.) for about 5 months and just now it's starting to settle down. I mean I won't get fucking mad about the stuff she does that invoke said drama. Stuff like probably purposefully ignoring me and going for a smoke with some of her buddies, ignoring me a bit more and overstaying at her friends/family when we were supposed to meet, not replying to my urgent texts, or SEEING me hug some slut when in fact I didn't get closer than a few feet of her and then starting a huge cockslapdrama explosion on my ass later on.

So, the drama, you gotta cut it short but don't do it too drastically, it also depends what kind of GF she is, and if she really loves you, not wants your manly arms and manly penis.

And the downs... well, try to see who's fault is it, and try to talk it over, if you can, don't throw blame, just show there is a problem and if you could solve it.

Man you guys are stupid, those bitches are testing your boundaries. Like children pissing off their parents to see what they can get away with, they're fucking with you, and you are screwing up big time. Keep this shit up and you'll be her whipped little bitch in no time.

What you have to do is put your foot down. They want to be put in their place, you aren't doing that. Treat them like little kids when they act this way, and tell them to shut up, in a clever way of course. Women are constantly looking for emotional stimulus, and when you don't give it too them, they get bored and stir shit.

My wife will slap my arms just so I'll restrain her. She'll bitch at me just so I can put her in her place. Women like to be dominated, and they'll cause you shit if you don't act like a man.

Your girlfriend probably isn't just saying she feels like you lowered her standards just to create drama. That's a totally common, if not legitimate fear. You're gonna stop telling her that you're 'less picky' because it really does sound like you're settling then. Instead you should tell her that you thought you only liked blondes until she came along and set you straight; you have seen Aphrodite and her name is brunette, but I digress. Generally, girls will always be somewhat insecure; it's something you've got to get used to. Just throw her a compliment once in a while and keep it under control.

As for the drinking thing, she's just being rebellious. When you tell her not to do something she feels like she needs to maintain control of the situation and make you worry. She just wants the power. Guys do the same thing all the time too, you know. Their girlfriend doesn't trust them, says "I don't want you hanging out with so-and-so-slutty-girl," so what do you do? You show her that you're your own boss and go hit on/bang the slutty girl. Don't enable her to do that; next time tell her that she can do whatever she wants, but you trust her to make good decisions and not do anything she wouldn't want you to know about. She can't rebel if you don't try to rule her.

Yesterday I told her "I really don't ask that much of you..to look nice in front of my parents, be a good girl friend and not talk to her ex, not get drunk w/o me etc" You have done all of those things. I don't think your serious about this relationship because you keep pushing me and creating drama (I mentioned examples). I'm not down and I'm letting you know that you are either going to decide to be w/ me or w/o me.

Burst into apology promised to change blah blah.

Now she is literally under my fucking foot. This power feels really good...but I don't like it. I feel like the relationship should be equal. That she could be nice to me w/o me having to put her in her place. W/e tho, girls are dumb.

Next question: She is obviously not going to follow thru on these promises, she rarely has. I made it clear if she drinks w/o me that shes done, and not only is she done, but I'll count it as bad as cheating on me and that she knows what I will do if she cheats on me (I explained this, pretty "bad" to her she gets the picture). The other stupid ass shit, tho, the petty drama blahblah, if she is being a stupid bitch again what am I supposed to do? I can't just keep threatening to leave her that is fucked up, my ex gf did that to me a bunch it is just shitty.

I know what you mean, just wanting things to be equal, and it is something that is rather tricky to find.

So how long have you been together?! It is a pretty controlling thing to do, demanding that the other should not under any circumstances do something. To be honest if my girlfriend told me that I could not drunk if she is not around, or do drugs, I would tell to fuck off. I wouldn't even have to put any thought behind the words.

How old are you...?

Also, it doesn't really sound like you really give a shit about her, you refer to her as a 'stupid bitch'. You say she is 'essential' in your life but yet say you would quickly break up with her for drinking with her friends?!

You sound like a dick and she sounds weak as shit.

Just don't play along with her stupid games. It's not that hard. But by coming out and saying "don't do that" she knows she got your attention, so whenever she wants some more attention, or some sort of drama, what do you think she's going to do?

We've been together almost 3 months.

When she drinks, she is reckless and out of control. She blacks out everytime she drinks, and during this stage is what I'm frightened of. Do I think she would cheat on me ? No. Do I think she would say no to some guy trying to fuck her in a blackout? yes.

EVERY TIME SHE DRINKS SHE BLACKS.

I'm 17.

No, I really do care about her, I call her those things because I think its fucked up that she claims to love me and starts this drama all the time. Obviously things don't match up.

All her friends are hopeless drug addict sluts. Not as bad as me and her (Drug wise) but the point is still there. I don't want her drinking w/ those girls because they will always invite guys over and don't give a fuck what happens to each other. I'm not just saying this because I don't like them (I do like them actually), they are just not serious about anything and dont give a fuck, at all.

Ok, how the fuck am I supposed to feel confident and secure about my relationship if I know shes going to get shit faced at a party when I'm at work? Yes, if she was a normal functioning non-alcoholic I wouldn't care because she could drink, not black, and push off guys.

Obviously I'm not going to allow her to drink w/o me. She has even told me everything I say about her and black outs and cheating.

mydruguse=10xherdruguse.

This isn't about drugs, it is about cheating. I can't have that happen, and it will if she drinks and is w/ other guys, simple as that.

Stop doing so many drugs and stop hanging out with people that do so many drugs. How can you be surprised when she acts completely unreasonable? Drugs do that to you, mate. They distort reality and break down character.

And the way you talk about your drug use... well, it doesn't sound like you're just smokin the ganja here and there. Sounds like some serious shit. And that's just not good for you man. I mean fuck, I used to smoke weed daily (not that that makes me hardcore) -- but even there I could tell that it fucked with my personality and my perception of reality....

Oh well I'm going nowhere with this.

Tell her that you love her, and that you want to be with her, but at the same time it is simply unacceptable for her to be behaving like this and if it persists you will have to let her go in order to preserve your sanity, even though it will hurt.
The trick is to actually do it, if the shit keeps going.

Why the fuck did you get involved with someone like this?!?!?! Find someone stable, can control themselves, and doesn't take some many god damn drugs. You might just find a relationship with someone like this a lot less stressful and more enjoyable.

How do you deal w/ the drama?

Be a man and take control. Call me old fashioned but I think it's in human nature for women to need control from the man. Just don't take any BS and show that bitch who's boss.

If she keeps doing it to get a reaction out of you, ignore her.

How do you deal w/ the downs? By downs I mean where the relationship feels like it could be falling apart. How do you get it back?

Ignore it.

OP, you call her stupid but she's playing you like a fiddle man. She laid the trap and you walked right into it. Women feed on emotional stimulus and you set her up quite nicely to have an unlimited supply.

Honestly, you're going to have a hell of a time trying to salvage from your mistakes. You pretty much have to learn to not give a shit, and that isn't easy for everyone.

You called it man, there testing you. It usually happens for the first few months and depending on how you handle it, the relationship either goes down the shitter or moves to the next stage. I went through the same thing; it's all a test. I'm guessing the girl is a least a bit possessive too?

Thanks for the help.

She is claiming to change blah blah but who knows she has said this before.

Ok, how do I actually FORCE HER TO CHANGE.

She is the hottest girl I've had and has sex w/ me often.

She is the basis of my social life for the most part, I've kind of dropped most of my male friends I should probally get on that.

The point is if she keeps acting like a bitch and I cut her, my life will suck for a few months until I pick up a new chick.

Is there anyway to make her change or does she have to do it.

Ya, I know that sounds dumb.

I know what you mean. It's really difficult to deal with Downs in a relationship. Especially because your partner usually doesn't know what they are doing.

I like to tell them that it's a fun game. Kind of like wrestling, but with my penis in their vag. Overall, I prefer to date people without the extra chromosome.
