Alright, so I've been noticing this and I wondered if it's normal. My old car was shit, it was older and run down and it finally died. I finally decided to step back into the world of car payments as much as I hate it. I mean my old car wasn't horrible, it was a 2000 Toyota (300,000 miles when I retired it) nothing special but obviously old. My new car is a 2008 Nissan Altima and I get hit on all the time with it. It makes me weary of money grubbing bitches (see so this sucks part 1 and 2 for my feelings on that shit) I don't want to get into that shit. But it's like this, yesterday I went out with some friends to a bar, and I pulled up and there were these three girls outside the bar, really pretty but they were talking about each person's car. I ignored it and went inside, and through out the night all three of them came up, hit on me, and continued to want to talk about my car, where I owned my home, where I worked etc.

Yeah, and if I made a decent amount of money, I wouldn't even buy a car at all. I'd either walk or take a cab most places. I honestly don't even like driving.

But my point was that generally a nicer car signifies a more successful person, and vice versa.

I dont know why people in this thread are pretending to be averse to luxury. Sure, there are double-digit millionaires through land ownership and running certain businesses that don't flaunt their wealth at all. They drive fords and GMs and would rather go to church every sunday than anything else. I've met one such person myself.
They live in a different world though. Know your target audience. Who are you trying to measure up against? Who will observe and take notice of you? The more individualist you are and self determined, the harder it's going to be to find like-minded people that reject consumer culture. So choose whatever lifestyle you want, just don't bitch once your dating pool is narrowed. It's not your fault but don't complain. You're making that choice. You can't control the way the rest of society acts.

Oh, and nissan's are cool. 350z, altima, maxima, gt-r, and the infiniti G line. What's not to love? Altimas are sportier than their other sedan counterparts(accord, camry), and look sleek. Especially the 07-08 ones.

People are more adverse to whores who only care about how much their next BJ can buy them. Also more people are pissed off that people with expensive cars can't handle them. My reason for not liking brand new, expensive luxury cars is because they're aren't fucking worth the money and the driver's are usually dumb fucks who never go over 60. When I see someone driving $70K SUV I think, hmm this person doesn't know shit about cars, class, or healthy spending habits. They could have easily bought an import and tuned it up. How best can I rip them off too. I just have a preference for classic cars and the people who drive them restored. Maybe I just have something called class I dunno.
