 Just took 2-3 tsp of tussionex
Yea so my dad got it for a gnar cough, and I figured it wouldn't miss a bit of it (he's not into meds) so I took a skinny shot of the stuff, amounting to 2-3 tsp's. I guess it has about 10 mg of hydro per tsp, so I should be feeling pretty good right?
I guess my question is how the absorbtion works compared to regular sources of hydrocodone, like lortab etc, and what what the main difference is. If any.

You might cop a buzz off that much if you're not real big and have no tolerance but I bet you're going to feel more satisfied with at least 20 mg.
To me, syrups seem to start working a little faster than tablets. Main difference is that in syrup there usually isn't APAP, and sometimes it's mixed with stuff like promethazine to aid other symptoms of the cough/bronchitis etc.

I believe you are supposed to gauge this by swig and not by tsp.
