Poppy Pod Tea
Okay so, as some of you may know i am lucky enough to have parents that grow poppies (for the beauty of them)
I am gonna use/abuse the poppies if possible
i picked some pods now, but they are immature/still wet/no seeds are formed yet...i probably fucked up there but whatever there is a shit ton more.
i wanna make tea but i first wanna make sure i have the right poppies...i have been told these are californian poppies..and yes they are orange...but i honestly do not think they are after long searches looking and californian poppies pictures.

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=245yreg&s=3
please let me know what you think(if they are good or not), sorry all the flowers are dead..and i will snag a pic of the patch as soon as my dad wanders inside...
thanks for your help
(hypothetical)

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
probably the wrong poopy for heroin. and it sounds like your going about it all wrong. i saw the afgans on telly slicing the poppyheads slightly while they were alive.. before they flower and collecting the residue.
check it http://www.erowid.org/archive/rhodium/chemistry/heroinmfg.html

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
It has psychoactive alkaloids but its not the true opium poppy.
I would say make some tea anyway and see what happens. Just as with anything, start at a low dose and work your way up.

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
I'm sorry man, cali poppies are basically only good for gardening. They have extremely negligible amounts of anything worthwhile. In short, you can't get fucked up on them.

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
Find the seed package ur rents used. If it says papaver somniferum your in luck. Otherwise they only contain very little opiates, not enough for ppt i think.

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
Yes there's a chance that they are good but that's not really enough information... We would have to see pics. Dude just make a tea out of those too if you think they are different, it's not going to kill you as long as you didn't get some completely different plant.

it's not going to kill you as long as you didn't get lucky and find actual opium poppies.
^^ fixed. ;)

Exacly. 6 FRESH somniferum pods with decent alkaloid content would have me barfin all day or in hospital. I take 30-50mg hydrocodone for a buzz so im not too much of an opiate lightweight. But 6 old dried pods (persian mediums) in a tea sodomizes me whenever the pods happen to be of decent quality, i bet fresh ones are even stronger

Re: Poppy Pod Tea
