A contam isn't going to make you have a bad trip. It'll most likely destroy the mycelium all together before they ever make mushrooms, or they'll make you sick to your stomach, or die.

You should be able to tell a contaminated mushroom from one that isn't.

And blowing smoke on weed isn't bad for it either.

Yeah, some kid that I sold mushrooms (which I grew myself, and KNOW did not have any sort of contamination) to, told me that they were contaminated because him, and the guy he was tripping with both bad bad trips. I laughed at him and explained how stupid he was. Seriously, he thought they were tainted, he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that the bad trip was caused by his environment, and emotional state.

Okay, I guess I worded that a little wrong. But, blowing smoke on them once or twice isn't going to do that. Having it around all the time though is bad like you say.


Not to mention if you're growing you better have proper ventilation and you won't have to worry about this.

Only time smoke would really get blown onto growing plants is when you're harvesting.
