Being cheated on..and staying in the relationship
My friend(who is an ex) has been cheated on, not only cheated on but lied about it and didnt tell her the true story when asked about the situation..
I care about her and think it's bullshit, I dont know if shes gonna stay with him..but if she does, I think I would lose alot of respect for her..The girl has been cheated on alot, right now I just wanna be there for support, I feel like if i told her i'd lose respect it would put alot more on her shoulders..
right now shes tellin me "it must be somethin she does", to get cheated on all the time, I dont know what to tell her..All I know is if she stays with him, I will lose respect for her and most likely just stop being her friend, is this wrong of me?
Edit: I dont like the guy, which is more of a reason to walk away as a friend. I have given her advice on how to approach the situation when she had doubts.. also this isnt a "serious relationship"..I mean they say "I love you", but I know thats bs, I mean its been 3 months, and they were friends before.

Re: Being cheated on..and staying in the relationship
Yeah man she wants some sweet revenge sex with a friend.
You used to go out so its clear that she finds you sexually attractive - it is a tried and tested fact that if your chatting with a girl and she complains that her boyfriend cheated on her she is either an attention whore or a horny honey wanting some dick.
I say go for it dude, be a man.

Re: Being cheated on..and staying in the relationship
You know whats bs... that you are willing to chuck a friend just because of this. What she chooses to do in a relationship is none of your god damn business. Offer your advice and leave it at that.

Re: Being cheated on..and staying in the relationship
my advice is to straight up tell her man. its your FRIEND so you should have HER back not her sleazy BOYFRIENDS. seriously man why would you even cover for her bf? if anything you should be knockin that dude on the dome with a baseball bat.
basically, tell her you found out through a friend recently and tell her you didnt tell her earlier ( make it seem recent or tell the exact truth) because you cant stand to see her hurt and then bascally build it up from there and form a relationship with her. sounds good to me

Because I believe he will do it again if she forgives him, and I don't want her to hurt all over again, pretty simple.

It's her lesson to learn. You can voice that opinion but at the end of the day it is her choice and you should respect that.

First of all you are not treating her like a friend, you are treating her like your ex. Stop being a selfish prick, you say you want to be there to support her, yet you are willing to walk away for reason such as..."I don't like her boyfriend". Well then be more permanent than him, too bad you can't do that though because you're a weak individual.

How am I weak?
Abandoning people you claim to "care" for is weak.

I second that. I might also add that you are stupid for not seeing that she is a dirty whore.

Did you just edit your post? I try and quote and this pops up, when I originally saw this....
Fuck that, if shes that stupid, then she doesnt need to be my friend..we're close, but not that close.
Either way, you say you aren't close, but that you care for her...then say if she is going to be stupid, then you are just going to throw her into a lion's den. You're ridiculous, and not worthy of anyone's love.

I don't think I would stop being her friend, but I would lose a ton of respect for her if she stayed with the guy..I have my reasons..
1. shes always bitching about him anyways, saying its not gonna last anyway
2. shes movin off to college near me and hes movin an hour away from where she lives now.
3. hes just usin her for a place to stay and pussy
Ya it bothers me, maybe it shouldnt but thats how I feel.
How am I ridiculous? because I see the shit that she doesnt? she doesnt love this guy and I know it,

She isn't with you, she is with him. What business do you really have trying to dictate to her how to live, or how to deal with her relationships? Stop trying to offer her advice on how to "fix" her situation and just be there for moral support when she needs it. Who gives a fuck if it bothers you, you are not the one being mistreated. Learn to act properly, and she might just follow in your stead.
