ive taken 20mg before just trying to get some sleep and all it did was make my thinking a little cloudy and screw with my short term memory.

i think its plenty. dont be expecting too much, but it should be fun. good luck remembering it tomoorow though.

that's the thing man.. i'm not even trying. it's all me baby! im flattered you'd think so though.

I used to hit even up to 60mg before. You don't need to take that much though. The visuals are rarely something to get excited over and the rest is just a confused blurriness in which you generally go either emotionally numb or insanely hypersensitive in your emotions.
The first time was the best at 30mg I think, was watching night in the museum on a laptop and it looked so real it felt like i could reach into the screen and touch stuff. I tried. I failed :(

I love ambien. The only thing that annoys me is a lot of affects you get from it go away once you start using it more. The first time I took it, I took 10 mg and walls were melting and I was going on iTunes and my playlist looked like towers. It's hard to explain. My friends' reactions to things that happened made me feel really weird too. I dunno, it's hard to explain. I don't really get feelings like that anymore, but I'll still get fucked up off of 10 mg, and I'm probably just as fucked up as I was when I first took 10 mg minus some affects. I can even feel something from 5 mg.

Also you get a tolerance REALLY fast, so you don't wanna take more then like 10 mg unless it's a really special occasion. If you take like 20 mg once, your tolerance WILL go up.

Ambien sucks because you tend to blackout and hide all your personal things ie: wallet, ambien bottle with pills, money, keys, etc throughout your house in various places all wrapped in t-shirts

I've only blacked out from it once and that was when I took 25-30 mg (I don't remember exactly how much I took) and I was drinking with it too. I didn't really black out though. I just have a really hard time remembering what I did.
