I got this idea last night, when I was talking to my good friend about my perfect girlfriend.

Now, I don't have any preferences as far as looks go, if a girl is good looking that's fine by me, I'm not that picky. But, the most important thing, would be that my perfect partner would do my laundry! For real, I hate fucking laundry, and if I could come home and all my laundry was always done, I'd be so happy.

I'm not even going to go as far as to ask for my perfect partner to cook. I don't mind cooking, in fact, I enjoy cooking so that's no big deal. I do hate cleaning up the mess when I'm done cooking, so my perfect partner has no problem cleaning up the kitchen.

Personality though, there's a bunch of different personalities I can deal with, but if it's the perfect girl, it'd be something I'd have to be able to put up with. My perfect partner doesn't demand too much attention though, I'm usually busy and don't have enough time to be all about that. She has to enjoy smoking pot, in fact, the rule of my house would be, whomever wakes up first, rolls the first blunt.

I wouldn't really care if my partner were to work or not, I've got no problem being the guy that pays the bills, as long as my laundry gets done and the house is clean I'm pretty fucking happy...

Well the first major red flag to me was this statement, "I'd have to be able to put up with." in regards to your perfect partner's personality. The absolute most important thing I would want in a partner is open-mindedness and respect/understanding of others. I want someone who I can feel safe talking to and being vulnerable with without fear of being judged. I also want to know that they can have their own beliefs while respecting those that others hold dear. If someone is able to see outside their own bubble of existence and attempt to understand/accept others, and if they can make me feel safe to be myself, I could overlook most other mortal failings, as this type of person is truly rare.

My ideal partner would also be intelligent. That doesn't necessarily mean educated or genius or anything like that; as long as they are able to have some degree of abstract thought and a desire to learn new things, I would be content. But I know I could not be with someone who can't talk about anything other than One Tree Hill and their car; I want a man who is as interested in the world (both physical and metaphysical) as I am.

Obviously I would like someone who is physically attractive as well, but not overly so. Pretty boys tend to be arrogant and conceited. As long as they are clean, alright to look at, and take care of themselves, I couldn't ask for more.

And finally, I would be ecstatic to be with someone who could think for themselves.
