Drinking sleep
If you drink a lot for many days in a row and than totally stop, do you get shitty sleep, especially when it's all hot and sticky weather?

Re: Drinking sleep
More to do with your body wanting the alcohol. So the simple answer is yes, though it's not a sleep thing as such, its your body withdrawing from the booze.

Ho ho ho. Most definately. Probably best to lay off the sauce for the moment unless you don't mind becoming a fully blown alcoholic, which isn't so bad... for the first five or so years at least. If you really are suffering hallucinations and not doing psychedelics or are crazy then you must of been hitting it hard for a while.

Re: Drinking sleep
hallucinations maily happen when I am working for a long time doing something repititavely. Live edging and mowing and crap.
Am i a full blown alcoholic if I drink 6+ beers, a bottle of wine, a pint of whiskey, etc. if I have them?
I take vitamins and water with them and pace myself. But I find myself on my knees under beds and stuff looking for that "lost bottle" that may not even exist at times.
I also wake up with bruise all over not remembering what happened, and being told i was a stupid asshole.
so??????

Re: Drinking sleep
I also find I've been pissing myself a lot lately. That didn't used to happen quite as much.
Funny thing is I gave up pot without a problem. I havent even ingested it in almost a year, even though it is readily available. I also have shitloads of old hydro and oxy I havent even taken since i don't want to mix tylenol with alcohol.
Yet I find myself going to extreme lengths to even attempt to purchase alcohol. It was all good until this ARAB stopped working this place during the days. He would sell me shit without IDing me.
I also have massive cases of alcoholism on both sides of my genetic heritage.
Does any one think this is not good?
I take no drugs at all. Just vitamins and alcohol.
And as an answer to ed lister, I think I am crazy. Most likely due to alcohol consumption

Yeah alcohol is a funny funny thing. You're definately not a full blown alcoholic at the moment however it certainly sounds like the potential is there. You seem like you are at the position I was about three months ago. I've cut back a bit now so the blackouts don't happen although everything you've said has happened to me many times.
Good idea to take supplements when you're a heavy drinker.
Alcoholism has an interesting way of 'running in the family' so you might have some sort of predisposition to the drink.
Introduced to alcohol at an early age?
Oh and the bladder thing is probably because you drink alot of water/coffee as you're always hungover ammirite?

Re: Drinking sleep
I dont think the pissing myself thing was so much due to plain drink as it was that i got trashed and fell asleep. Alcohol+no urination+heavy fricking sleep= urination.
And I probably started drinking normal drinks at around 2002-2003 and I'm 18 now.
I did stop drinking other than non-alcoholic beer for probably about a year recently. 2007-2008ish.
At least I am coherent enough to type this now.
I have drove really fall down drunk though, which is bad, since I'm not even 21. Thank GOD I hit nothing that I know of. I also dropped my pizza I picked up on the assphault of my parking lot that day.
It sucked,

Re: Drinking sleep
Yeah I'm 21 starting drinking at around 15.
I've written off two cars drunk. One was a mates. One was my adored Crown Royal Saloon 85' loaded with extras. Crashed two more of my own. Not too bad though. Learnt my lesson good and proper. Drink driving is some baaad shit.
Went drunk swimming and lost my wallet with $600 in it the other day. That was a weeks pay that I couldn't afford to lose :(
Every really stupid thing I've done has been drunk. It's fucking terrible although I don't believe I will ever stop drinking.

I think I may feel exactly the same as you described here, bro. Have you gotten into fights and shit drunk? I have. It sucked. It was videotaped even, but i threw it away because I didn't like getting my head flipped on assphault.

Re: Drinking sleep
I used to drink 2 40's a night. Then it went to a 6 pack a night. Then wine. Then vodka. Then all over again.
I did this for years, atleast 5-7 years. Every night without fail. One day I just got tired of getting drunk. Now i'm 29 and i'm sure my liver is at least a little fucked. Stop now, for your health.
Peace.

Re: Drinking sleep
I have only used alcohol and pot/hash/oil. I have used Hydrocodone and Codeine before, but in regular medicinal doses. Thats about it. I'm light weight I guess (at least now I am without the daily alcohol intake).
Peace.
