As he said, a gram of propylhexedrine all at once would either kill you or leave you tweaked for several days.

And it would probably kill you, given it's nasty vasoconstricting properties.

I can unfortunately say from experience that a single cotton, shredded and eaten, is plenty for a buzz that isn't half bad until the comedown. The comedown is so disproportionately bad to the high it's not worth it, though.

Plus, it gave me such bad stomach pains and nausea-inducing lavender burp, even if the comedown wasn't bad, I would NOT be going near this again anytime soon.

Seriously, I ate one around 2 years ago, and I STILL cannot go near anything lavender scented.

the jokes all on you fools. you doubt something soo much without looking into everything about it. smoking propylhexedrine hcl is pretty fucking impressive for OTC. its pretty good for anything. that shit is soo fuckin addictive. the first time i did an extraction i did 1 gram. now im doing a 5 gram extraction. were about 8 days into the evaporation process. i dont have a hot plate, and when you heat up this concoction it reeks of muriatic. trust me, its well well worth the wait.

edit: the average dose for a strong high is about 25-30mg. do the math. on dosages.

Propylhexedrine is really hit and miss with people. But most can agree that the comedown is not worth the euphoria.

The first time I tried it, it had a decent euphoria. I liked it so far. But slowly and steadily the nausea and stomach discomfort sunk in. Hours later I experienced a horrible, horrible comedown and just generally felt like shit for awhile until I fell asleep. Not worth it.

If you are used to shitty comedowns, it won't be a big deal. You can actually weed out the drug users that don't do hard drugs just by how bad they say the comedown is... The experience of a total drug addict will tell you that there isn't THAT bad of a comedown, and most of the kids that say the comedown is "awful" haven't done worse than weed or pills or some shit... The comedown is nothing compared to a one day coke binge, and is NOTHING compared to a 7-12 day crack binge... The comedown from prox isn't SHIT, and most of the people saying it is haven't done real drugs... I will just say, don't do more than 1 inhaler a day, because it is risky with the lack of recreational testing... It might be found that doing 10 inhalers a day is fine, but on the other hand, 1 inhaler a day may cause cancer for all we know... Don't risk major abuse... The problem is, with popularity, we get more information, and more problems with getting what we want OTC... So, just do it or don't, It's the same with RCs, no one knows what to expect in the long term.

benzedrex depletes your blood glucose. if you drink a soda or eat candy sometime down the line you will not feel the comedown.

Everyone knows that Benzedrex inhalers contain Propylhexedrine, an amphetamine like compound that is also called hexahydromethamphetamine.

Well everyone knows swallowing the cotton can give a great amphetamien buzz. But no reports to this point have been suggested for smoking the compound!

Well ill be the first!!!!


i bought 4 benzedrex inhalers. Each containing 250mg Propylhexedrine freebase. I cut open all 4 inhalers and cut each cotton into tiny pieces and put all these cotton pieces in a shot glass sized beaker. A shot glass will work for you home-chemists.

Next was added 4 tablespoons of Water and 1.5 tablespoons of Muriatic Acid (31.45% hydrochloric acid from the hardware store). This was mixed with the cottons and the cottons were pressed against the walls to try to get as much of the freebase propylhexedrine to convert to propylhexedrine HCL which is soluble in water.

AFter mixing and mashing for about 20 minutes with the back end of a knife, i poured the cottons and liquid through a strainer. Then squeezed the excess liquid from the cottons and threw them away. Now im left with this 50-60ml of cloudy liquid.

I put this on a glass dish and heated it and evaporated the excess liquid. It got down to about 1-2ml of liquid and i still didnt see any crystals or any sign of the propylhexedrine so i was getting upset. But after the final bit of water/acid evapped, crystals were all over the place. i scraped them up and they were an off-white kind of brown substance. Yield was about 90-100%!!! i had about a gram of this powder!

So now you say you got your gram of propylhexedrine hcl powder, now what?

i took a pen cap and scooped a little bit of the powder onto a piece of aluminum foil. i had a piece of straw in my mouth. I lit near the bottom of the foil with a lighter but didnt touch it, and the powder began to liquify before becoming smoke. Then as i smoked the vapor, it tasted very sweat. AFter a few hits i couldnt help but notice my energy was waaay up and i was very euphoric. And my heart was going pretty good.

i thought, wow this shit is extremely strong when smoked. Orally people take like 250mg, but this wasnt more than 50-100mg and i felt it very strong0

theres the extraction as posted by boobsled. it seemed to work out aight for most people who tried it, got me interested in it and i think i may just give it a shot during the summer.

everyone needs to stop taking the inhalers and do extractions. this is the only extraction i reccomend. it is the best thing ever. when i did it on the gram it was very nice. little cube like crystals and small spider web designs. the 5-gram extraction i just did blew my mind. i have never seen anything like this. it looked just like glass my friend, shine beautiful crystal like glasss. i was going to take pics before i scraped it up but i couldnt wait. i do have another dish but it isnt as gorgeous. now the guy in this method says to microwave it, but i wouldnt reccomend it. hot plate sounds okay but it seems like even a little heat melts the crystals back to a liquid state. i just let it air dry with paper covering the top of the dish for about 13 days. sorry for my spelling i really dont feel good now, suck my balls. fuck spell echkc

* Isopropyl alcohol
* Petroleum Ether or "Zippo" lighter fluid
* Distilled water

(1) Break open a Benzedrex inhaler, cut the cotton into small pieces, and place into a 25-50ml beaker.

(2) Add a couple tablespoons of isopropyl alcohol (70% to 99%). This will immediately pre-extract some of the propylhexedrine freebase from the cotton.

(3) Boil some water (preferably distilled) in the microwave. While waiting, stir the cotton inhaler/alcohol mix thoroughly.

(4) Add boiling water to the alcohol/cotton mix, filling the beaker slightly less than halfway with fluid. Immediately add 15-30 drops of muriatic acid.

(5) Stir well, and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Remove cotton, squeeze out and set it aside (don't discard it yet).

(6) Add Zippo / petroleum ether to the beaker, until it's 4/5 full or thereabouts (enough to be able to shake). Cover and SHAKE WELL (use your hand to cover the top f there's no lid).

(7) Allow the petroleum layer to separate from the other liquid -- it will float to the top, with the menthol crap dissolved in it but the propylhexedrine still in solution in the acidic water/alcohol layer at bottom. Siphon off the top layer with an eyedropper and discard it. If you plan on injecting the propylhexedrine, repeat steps 6-7 several times to improve purity.

(8) Place the remaining liquid on an evaporation plate, put it in the microwave or conventional oven and evaporate completely. Careful not to let the plate crack from the heat. Allow to sit 15-30 minutes to cool.

(9) Either scrape propylhexedrine crystals off plate and save, or scrape crystals and dissolve in ~30ml water. Alternately you could add ~30ml water onto the plate, swirl it around to redissolve the propylhexedrine and siphon it off into another container.

(10) If desired, take the cotton from step 5 and repeat this whole process on it one more time. You should recover only 5-10% more at best, which is insignificant with one inhaler but would be significant if several inhalers were being extracted at once.

edit: btw, theres no comedown smoking it at all. but remember this a short lasting drug. prob. lasts about 30 minutes. average dose is 15-30mg. the g cost $25.
