Anyone have any tips for passing a substance abuse evaluation... i.e the trick questions, Thanks.

when they say shit about drugs, act like your a dare officer.

example: why is marijuana dangerous?

because you can easily overdose on it!

It depends on the stage of use/abuse they think you are in, and how normal the place seems.

If they sound like retarded pamphlets that you've seen throughout your schooling, then take the above suggestion and just act like a good little kid that knows nothing about drugs except for what they've been told by counselors, DARE, etc.

If they sound fairly normal and don't seem to be extremist, just tell them you smoke weed every now and then or something. It's best not to admit to doing "hard" drugs just because of the stigma they might place on it. In a decent place, it won't matter if you tell them you've done acid, but elsewhere, it could be a big deal.

The above is assuming they already know you do some type of drugs. If they don't know that, then just feign ignorance I guess. But I'm assuming that you wouldn't have to go through an SAE if that was the case.

I have to take one of these before they decide the length of my suspension from school. do they talk to your parents to or just you? my parents have caught me for ecstasy and OC and i want to know if i should admit this or try and lie

how old are you? if your over 16 I don't think they can disclose anything you say without your permission so lie about it. personally i hated school so id try to get the longest suspension possible without failing any classes but im not you so i dont know how long you want to be out for

I definately just had an eval this morning when my mother freaked the fuck out because I was on drugs and took me to the hospital. They released me immediately after the eval saying that they really had no criteria to keep me against my wil. Basically.. All I did was tell them with a complete honest look that I dont abuse drugs or alcohol. Sure I party, but when I do I dont get balls to the wall, top down, completely FUCKED. I just get alittle buzzed and enjoy myself. I never really use while I'm alone. Act like you are a normal law abiding citizen that happens to take drugs every once and a while and not someone that lets drugs run there life. Don't act like a loony either.

I am 23, I got a DWI so this is why I have to have the bleeding thing. I have already had one and they recomended me for supportive outpatient groups. My probation officer said that if I take another one and provided I've been sober that I wouldn't have to go to the groups. I lied my ass off on the first one. I'm assuming the councelor didn't belive a word I said...
