I'm worried about my 5 leaved plant chilling with my clearly female and well developing plant.

My main issue is that I don't entirely believe the 5 leaver is male. It doesn't have the 'balls' as we call them, but instead has what looks like tiny little buds.

I can't really do much without pictures so I might repost if I can get some pics and no one can help me out, but basically my question is this:

Can a 5 leaved plant produce bud?
Can a 5 leaved plant pollinate the female?
Is it possible that this thing is a hermaphrodite?

I'll give more info if you guys can think of something more relevant then the amount of leaves and it's ball / bud status.

The surefire female is looking beautiful and is starting to bud. The other two are kinda iffy though since they both have five leaves.

If one is starting to flower... the others will show sex soon enough.

And males don't release their pollen until mature. You have plenty of time to chop it.

The amount of leaves is nt how you determine the sex of the plant. you have to wait until the very tiney pre-flowers start growing. Also as the plant grows larger the amount of leave will usually increas in different stages of growth, though the strain can bde a factor in what the max amount of leavs are.

Alright sweet. That's really all I'd like to know. I'm not a botanist and I'm not growing these things but I heard that a 5 leaved plant meant it was male so I thought I'd do some research.

Males and females both flower so they both have pre flowers. Get a magnifine glass and look in the "armpits" of the main stem. (where it branches off) At first the preflowers of both sexes will look similar but after a few days the male preflowers will open and a droopy ball looking thing will come out. Its balls will iterally drop. The female will open after a few days but instead of a little ball coming out 2 white pistils will come out. Pistils are little white hairs and they will eventually turn orange. When 80-90% of the pistils have turned from white to orange(or whatever color the genetics produce) yur buds should be ready for harvest.
At first the preflowers on both will look like a little bal in the branch but do not cut it until the flowers open.

Also look over the plants everyday thoroughly because if a hermie is hidden is hidde din their it could ruin your harvest with just a few hidden male flowers on a very female looking plant. If you do get a hermie seperate it from the rest so it doesnt fertalize your females. Also I have heard that hermies are used in the process of making feminized seeds so you could look into that fo future reference.

You certainly did not. I asked the question looking for an answer and I thought you approached it very well. I can't look at the plants until tomorrow sadly but I did some more research and found out what I should be looking for.
