Transporting some acid on a roadtrip
Me and a few buddies are heading up to Dallas from Houston by car to see Radiohead. I have a few blotters of acid wrapped in some aluminum foil that I want to drop before the show. I was just wondering what was the best way to stash it while we head up there to make sure I maintain the integrity of the acid so it doesn't go bad because of excess heat, etc.

Would an insulated lunch box work just as well? I just don't want anything that would be too conspicuous. A bucket cooler seems a little much.

Anything which can keep it cold.

...and dry.
OP : most people going on multistate road trips carry a cooler to store lunchmeats in. It's why they sell cig-lighter powered coolers in stores, ffs.
Just keep it under the lunchmeats and soda (and dry), and you should do fine.

In foil between some bread in a cooler?
I think the bread would absorb moisture around it, im not sure though.

Re: Transporting some acid on a roadtrip
What about wrapped in foil, in an airtight plastic bag in the insulated lunchbox with an icepack in it?

Should do, I just mentioned foil because foil is an insulator.

Re: Transporting some acid on a roadtrip
You're going all out when there's no reason. I've transported L for 5 hours just in a backpack in the back seat before and it was perfectly fine. If you have A/C, you can keep it inside the vent, or if you have a speaker near it, you can put it there. It doesn't really need to be cold, just kept away from extreme heat.

Re: Transporting some acid on a roadtrip
I have nothing to ad other than fucking enjoy Radiohead. I saw them at Bonnaroo '06. Nothing has topped it since, I have enjoyed other concerts (like watching the Mars Volta on lsd) but still nothing has topped Radiohead.

I've seen The Mars Volta and Radiohead on seperate occasions, both times on acid. I can definitely say Mars Volta blew Radiohead and every other live show I've seen out of the water. Not to piss on Radiohead though, they are a truly amazing band.

Re: Transporting some acid on a roadtrip
It'll last for months unless you expose it to 50 or 60 degrees celcius. Keep away from light with simple tinfoil, also keep away from moisture (I believe tinfoil does this to). Shouldn't be any more problems.
