Tonight I will be getting on a plane and traveling interstate to meet a friend who I have being talking to online since I was 13, I am now 20.

I've never met her before in person, but we talk on the phone several times a week. It's not really romantic, just a good strong friendship. I'm probably just as nervous as I am excited, so strange never meeting someone I've known for so long.

It's my only true relationship started on the internet, I don't really keep in contact with anyone else 'online' and I think she is in the same boat. Kind of amazing how we stayed so close especially as we both grew up in different worlds almost and maintain jobs and active social lives

Anyone else experience something similar? any advice? Wish me luck!
