Default Me Vs. Him.

Well, apparently I talked to her again today.

*sigh*

We talked about her new boyfriend. She says she "has love for him" and "since the break up she's seen new sides of me that she doesn't like."She also said "she could never see herself getting back together with me."

I guess I'm old news, huh?

So, I went ahead and freaked out inside like I usually do when people tell me they've found someone new (I figured he was better than me in some way.) Anyways, I compiled a list of things that differ between me and the new guy that you may find entertaining. Go ahead and post "she left me for WHO!?" experiences comparing yourself to people your girlfriend left you for. I'll start:

Miguel
Two kids Two ex-wives Drug dealer Gang member Manager at a fast food restaurant (soon she'll be making more than him at a telemarketing company and thus supporting his family) Extremely well endowed

Not to mention the guy is 29 and she's 17. Lets do the standard TOTSE "creepiness" math: x/2+7=y

29/2+7=y
14.5+7=y
21.5=y

Standard difference being 4.5 years. That means that he was 17 when she was 5. It also means that he's not "interested in her mind more than her body" it means he's an old phogey who can't keep at it.

Hate
Economics/International Relations major, third year Special Forces candidate 100k in the bank (dads life insurance money+wise investments) Chess champion Triathlete No drugs No kids

I mean, what the fuck more could she want? I had money, I'm a tough guy, I'm in shape, I'm not ugly.

What the fuck!?

I don't know.

She's kind of crazy, though. She's in "baby fever" mode, and I think she wants children with this prick.

In that case you really have no chance.

Not unless you are prepared to give her a baby.

I just hope that if my GF beaks up with me because of another guy, he'll at least be someone better than me, not some fucking prick.

As have the rest of us. In fact, she's probably having the same reaction as the rest of us, namely...

Lets do the standard TOTSE "creepiness" math:

monomaniacal obsession + anger disorder = creepy.

Yeah. I wouldn't go out with you either after seeing this chain of posts. Nothing personal, it's just... creepy.

Jesus I thought I had problems about posting rants on TOTSE after my girl left me, but I feel almost normal in contrast. You seriously need to move on. The samething, for the most part happened to myself with my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years. And I found that the "'HA!' Theory" as I call it helps a lot. Whenever you learn something shitty about her new boyfriend, especially if she is bitching about it to you, just let out a loud and sharp "HA!"

It helps re-enforce what a dumb twat she is in your head, and why you're better off without her. Also, if she is the one to tell you this new bad thing and you do this to her, it is a bit like a slap to the face, like "look what you have gotten yourself into and I'm not willing to try and make peace anymore."

On a more serious note though, it is hard getting over the "one," but trust me, tearing yourself up is not going to make it any easier. Stop making posts about her, and only make rant posts when you have been drinking. This sounds like a dumb idea and it is, but the next day when you are in the right mind you will feel like a jackass for posting your rants, and will slowly stop doing it to avoid humiliation. Thats what I did anyway.

Dood you've got to just get over it and stop talking to her. Things in life don't always make sense, you know? 8 years ago my husband cheated on me with a 26 year old woman who had FIVE kids ages 11, 9, 8, 5, 4 years old. BTW this slut had never been married. She was fat and seriously had a face like a pig. At the time I was 19, physically fit and I adored him. HE didn't even know why he slept with her!

It took me a long time to get over that...My husband moved into the barracks for a while and we went to counseling. Even after we reconciled, I was still all fucked up over it for a while. I let it eat at me...I kept wondering why would he do that? Especially with HER! It poisoned my life for like a year. I wish now I'd just moved on instead of holding on to the hurt and anger for so long.

How old are you OP? The girl is 17? Unless she had millions of dollars or could perform miracles I dont see what the loss is? Is it that hard to move on? Go meet some new girls, or infact some legitimate girls that arent out to mess with guys twice their age.

Guys, think a little. You know how a little kid will always get rejected by the cooler kids, and then the parent will be like "Well if they are mean to you, you don't want to be friends with them anyway"? It's like that. Yeah, if she truly is interested in this douche, he should lose interest pretty fast, but you can't just make yourself do that.

And OP, chess champion? I'll play you online sometime.

And by the way, being a chess champion is awesome in my eyes, but it doesn't exactly get the ladies in heat.

lol you are so right man girls that are in their teens or early 20's are about as consistant as the weather.

thats why i laugh at people getting married before 25. it just shows how bad the girl owns the guy. and how he feels he will never get anything better. when in reality, she ain't nothing but a pink box that pops out babies.

Into the ass?:P

I think he did it because he'd never slept with a woman who wasn't...Prim and proper?:P That woman was there and available and I think he thought he'd just do it and get away with it. To be honest, I wish I'd never found out about it. He's never cheated on me since and we stayed together, so I really would've rather just not known.

I match all of the "going into SF" criteria including, good vision, good health, good shot, I can fight, and I'm good in the woods.

Get a book on SF, they have a list of criteria that you need to do. The only thing I have yet to do is "be in the military for four years." But, the military will pay for my college and an ROTC program, so in two years I will have two years of military experience.

Win.

I was champ of my skewl. There weren't many regional tournaments, I was in the dead of Iowa, but I can beat most anyone I run into. If you can find a place for us to play online where I don't have to pay, I'd love to play you at chess. Especially if you're good.

Welcome to the world of dating women, Hate. Women don't know, they feel. Miguel the dirtbag mestizo has all the qualities that make women wet (violent, huge penis, "playa") , while your chess trophy doesn't. You should feel good though in knowing that your ex-girlfriend will probably be killed or atleast brutally beaten by this violent mexican.

You need to do something cool too. In a way, I admire miguel, he is a scumbag but atleast he's brave and lives an adventerous life. You should become a skinhead, that way you can use your physical training for good. Or join a one of those patriot movement militias. This will help you get the girls.

I don't need to get a book on SF to know your talking out of your ass. Just because your read some book, that doesn't make you SF material. If you were SF material you'd probably have served at least 4 years, done several deployments, done a few courses, serving in the infantry and have a good reputation around the battalion, not be some kid who has never served a day. Once you get some time up you'll realise that the numbers work against you.

Mate, never compare yourself to the other guy. It will never make sense.

I'm a night manager of a hotel. At 23 in this particular hotel, that's some pretty good going seeing as the youngest one ever was 27. They trust me with a whole hotel and all the fucked up shit that goes on in it.
I have money, I have security, I'm a pretty talkative person who likes to make people laugh, I can kick shit out of people (or at least come back with a hammer and get even), I get told I'm a great looking guy by quite a lot of women, I have a great personality (apparently) and I have NEVER heard a bad word about my bedroom adventures (Ever. I have had quite a few ex's come back just to fuck. One of them when I was with my current ex but that's a different story.)

My ex left me for a poor, jobless, layabout druggie who resembled Pee Wee Herman with Down's syndrome with less intellect than a carrot.

Maybe I worked too much...Maybe she got pissed off that I was hurt and angry when she cheated on me...Maybe she felt like she was doing the community a service by making this "special person" feel special. I don't know.

Do yourself a favour and stop fucking talking to her my friend. She's not worth your time or effort. You're better than that. This I know.

You don't know if your going to make it and once you get to basic you'll realise this. You really have to be something else to pass selection and serve in one of those units. Lots of good soldiers want to serve in those units yet there not. Don't get ahead of yourself. Your talking about how fast you can run when you should be learning how to crawl first

My husband and I were friends with 2 special forces people. One of them was an army interrogator and the other one was a former navy seal. The navy guy had to leave SF because he broke one of his legs during one of the training excersises. He had to wait like 2 years before he could reapply to get back in and then they wouldn't take him because of his former leg injury.

You figure out she's seeing someone new.
