so im thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend of almost 6 months. I really like her, but theres this weird distancing i feel when i talk to her.

i learned a while ago that if you go through life not having a girlfriend just because you know it will end, it sucks. thats a shitty way to look at it because you are not taking into account all the happiness you will have during it.

It'd be a bit of a shitbag way to dump her, but if you dump her in person you run the risk of not being able to thouroughly dump her. Her crying, or pitifull eyes, may make you buckle or some such, then you'll drag things out in an even more painfull fashion.

If you must break up with her, make her think you're a douche rather than make her cry her eyes out over you for 4 months.
