How would I go about lowering my nicotine tolerance?
I've been using snus (a form of smokeless tobacco; see my thread in OI (https://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=2123666) if you have any brand suggestions) for about six weeks. I seem to have built up a tolerance and I want to bring it down. I use 2-4 pouches per day and I was able to catch a buzz every time until about two weeks ago.
Anyway, the point:
I assume that taking a break would lower it, but how long of a break would be sufficient? How productive it is to reduce my usage? I could reasonably cap my usage at two per day, one at lunch and one in the evening. Would this be sufficient to bring my tolerance down?

You could conceivably perform a nicotine enema, which would give you an awesome buzz and also be able to enjoy the great taste of flavored semi-moist reconstituted plant matter in your mouth.

Just don't do it. Keep it as an occasional thing. It's horrible being addicted to tobacco.

Just like with most drugs, after a while you don't notice the "high" as heavily. Taking a long break would help somewhat, but don't expect that initial rush you once got.

Stop for 2 days, and then do it for 2 days, you will be satisfied.

Re: How would I go about lowering my nicotine tolerance?
I think the tolerance will have gone down in three days about as much as it's going to, since that's about how long physical withdrawal lasts.

Re: How would I go about lowering my nicotine tolerance?
Don't do it everyday. Simple. Not so simple for those addicted, so don't get addicted.

Role your own. Thats how I quit.
They're stonger yet less addictive, and after a while you'll just stop craving them.

Re: How would I go about lowering my nicotine tolerance?
I limit myself to dipping 3 times a week. Ive been going strong, and as long as I don't take them too big I have no comedown, no craving, great buzzes, and my lip isn't cut up like everyone else I know. I love it, but its a dirt-ass habit with all the spitting so thats an easy way to keep myself from overindulging.
