So I finally got my Vancouver ticket
And I'll be stopping in Amsterdam on the way. I get 3 hours there. Not enough to smoke, and I don't want to smuggle any. However, what if I were to eat a brownie before I went onboard? I'd simply eat the brownie before the first security check. Then I'd hurry up to my flight before I got high.
Also, what if I dog potentially caught me? Would they just search my luggage and send me on my way, or would they do the whole deal cavity search, etc? Is it illegal to be high on the plane or in the airport? Any other tips?

In fact I have. It's called being under the influence of a controlled substance.

You know someone that got arrested for being high on mj? Where do you live? My father used to be a police officer, and Ive never heard of anything like that. The only thing you have to worry about here is them actually finding the pot.

However, it's not controlled in amsterdam. However, it could very well be illegal in the airport, which is what I'm worried about. More so about being high at the airport. By the time I'm in Vancouver I'll be sober though, so that's no worries. On a full stomach, how long will it take to be fucked up? I'm thinking of ingesting a gram, with a mild tolerance, will this fuck me up?

Re: So I finally got my Vancouver ticket
I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Think about it this way: how many people, that day or any day, have to smoke all they can before they get on the plane, just to avoid taking it back home? I would just take a quick look around the airport when I get there and spot as many stoned people as I can. That should give you an idea of how tight they are about it.

Re: So I finally got my Vancouver ticket
What is the closest coffeeshop to the airport btw? I only have 3 hours which isn't enough to travel downtown.

Re: So I finally got my Vancouver ticket
The train from the airport to the centre of Amsterdam doesn't take long, it's worth it. There's several coffeeshops near the station.

Will it take less then an hour there and back? And is there no possible way to get weed closer to the airport? Remember, I'm going Oslo - Amsterdam, Amsterdam - Vancouver and I only get 3 hours there.

I can't remember how long it takes, sorry. It's not long, but if you have a plane to catch it might not be worth risking.

Re: So I finally got my Vancouver ticket
I have never been to that part of the world. But I have read the Coffeeshop Superfly (http://www.coffeeshopsuperfly.nl/) is 5 minutes by taxi from Amsterdam Airport Arrivals.
