Being happy all the time isn't normal, you're right; but "normal" doesn't mean "good," does it? I can't see how it would unhealthy, either; it's better than merely healthy. The only point of being "healthy" is so you can be happy, able to enjoy life. It's not a goal in and of itself, unlike happiness.

I think your last sentence reveals your real objection, surprise buttsecks: "it's annoying." You're envious. As a bitter and jealous person, I totally agree and sympathize, but that does not mean that I can object to the idea. I find a lot of things annoying, including that you're so dead-set against such a simple and worthy idea, but that's only a personal opinion. That's all.

You're missing the point.

How many people who act obnoxiously happy all the time do you truly believe are happy? Do you honestly believe that they have nothing in their lives that upsets them?

It's not the happiness that's annoying; it's the insincerity that lies behind it. The fact that you know something isn't quite right about how the person is behaving, and it's obvious that it's covering up a whole bunch of 'issues', as surprise buttsecks said at some point.

I knew a guy who acted like that once, and I later found out that while I knew him, he was being badly abused by his foster parents. He acted happy simply because he thought noone cared about him, and would abandon him if he wasn't. It was pretty sad.

There are people who lead legitimately happy lives, sure, and that's the kind of happiness which is awesome to be around. It's sincere happiness though, which is the difference. They aren't forcing their emotions, they're like that because it comes naturally to them.

I'm naturally high-spirited and it's not a rare thing for someone who suffers from clinical depression to accuse me of "faking it".

The other option that I sometimes get is a simple, "are you on drugs"? from someone.

I'm surprised no bitch has mentioned smell yet. What is your favorite flavor wiminz?? I've always believed that carrying your natural scent and having a hint of something else (nice shampoo, cherry cigar, etc). Smell has a very lasting impact on people. If they remember you as the stinky fucker from so and sos house they won't forget it. Of course you don't want to hose your body down with axe. Just enough so that they don't notice your cheap cologne when you're a few feet away but when you get close to them they really notice the coconut scent your hair has and how shiny it is.
