Default acid lovers / the culture

been away, travelling around (yes, in many ways) and still on the move....
that´s why haven´t been around here, still not gonna be back posting every day. many countries, many places, all new realities, I´m on the move...
anyways, about acid...
I remember a long time ago asking here about people´s opinions about the acid culture and nobody really got it. yeah, I think it was about acid heads. shit, the point was to scan for persons who really know about that shit, not to hear some dumn ass shit about pointless topics. want to hear about people involved in the scene. video conferences between squats in Amsterdam, Barcelona squat parties, real underground. I don´t know, obviliously posts like this get ´flamed´by fifteen year olds, I just want to discuss some serious issues about LSD with people really involved with it.
inhale, exhale. there is space out there. certain people need to unite.
it ain´t no fun drug, allthough it can be the funniest thing. deep emotions & discoveries, I hope to catch the right audience here. not for everybody, respect it. seems to me it comes out as bit of a messy ramble here, but maybe that´s a good thing. and to the people remembering the last topic, acid head doesn´t mean a person (only) taking acid to me. there´s so much more into it. there´s a whole culture out there, there´s a whole different point of perception out there.
are you in your mind (and maybe culturally) part of something I´ve hinted here? have you find the bliss in the solitude with your abstract wife Lucy?

(all you ignorant youngsters, there´s no way to stop your bullshit posting here, but that´s Totse for you, you fucking fucks.)

Love Saves the Day....

I dont really know what you are asking. But I sure know a lot about the American LSD culture. This topic might be better discussed at a different forum. Like hipforums or something.

Around here much of the acid world is the same at the rainbow family world they go hand in hand for me.

I'm not really sure there's a question in there either, but the answer is yes.

LSD-25 is my "drug" (I use that term lightly to describe something that is certainly much more) of choice, and this is no secret to those of you on here that know me.

It can and will teach you many things about yourself, your life, and the world surrounding you, and 'gift' you with the ability to see through peoples' masks to view them for who they really are.

That said, the LSD 'underground'/subculture is a large part of my life, as I am a willing participant in activities and social functions based around ideals and perceptions largely related to the influence acid has had on our world.

I'm afraid I've sorely neglected my timeshare in sunny Lysergia. The mundane world hasn't given me the time off lately.

While acid is a beautiful tool, and a great way to spend a morning, it still feels one step removed from pure psychedelia. One can still detect the presence of perceptual filters, albeit infinitesimal when compared to normal space. DMT is the mainline, man.

Then again, that meta-universe that LSD reveals is quite a bit easier to work in than a pure data flood. Hurrah for acid, and may the good Doctor rest in peace.

my opiate infested needle helps kill the pink cloud of a dream that was the 60's LSD culture, buahha...

Nah really I've only got to expirence the incrediable drug once, and a meger dose at that, but it was beatiful IMHO, I'd love to get some more sometimes and push harder, I <3 shrooms too...

I've actually been considering using shrooms to try to get myself off the opiates, taper down then switch over to tripping for awhile, sorta like a pseudo ibogaine expirence (yes I reliaze the HUGE difference in the two substances), but either way I think it may be of some use in the field, same as when it was attempted to be used to aid in the treatment of alcoholism, I really needa get some fat riggs full of spores :(

Unfortunately, while I'm definately more than a little psychedelisis-influenced - and a decent chunk of that has been LSD - I'm afraid I've always sort of been a culture of one, for the most part... isolated, alone, trapped in a world of people whose primary vision for the improvement of humanity is the consumption of mass-manufactured celebrity gossip, and who live entirely on wooden boxes in box-shaped blocs, watching boxes which broadcast 'official' pictures, and never even once asked why, or if it was the only way.

So, I'm afraid I can't help you. I've never seen a ticket to any "official acid zone," nor met any people who had a card from any centralized "national club of LSD." Just sorta on my own. Sorry 'bout that.

Acids culture is just a base displaying what it does to you. Like the lazy pothead. Yes acid can make you think a certain way and this particular culture drives it self on those crazy things you (and possibly everyone) realizes when there trippin. But, whether or not you believe what is shown too you and use it is what brings you to be a part of something...not necessarily acid culture. Thinking culture.

Do you see the way of the self satisfying itch

The UK acid scene is just waking up as far as I can tell... I been taking it for a while. I wouldn't describe it as a drug myself, more a different route to the truth. The first time I took it was a genuinely religious experience, and I've seen a lot more evidence of awakening lately in young people... I'm glad. Better than coke any day.

The thing about the British culture awakening (for the first time since the '60s as far as I can tell. Acid culture vanished with the Beatles) is that it is truly exciting seeing the way in which it will evolve. You want to see a new subculture's birth, come to the UK. History will be made. I'll keep y'all updated.

To me, like previously stated, there is no concrete acid culture with set gatherings and press coverage. There is more of a loose collection of peoples around the world who pay homage to acid for waking them up to a more colorful and beautiful word.

i like to, from time to time, re-evaluate my universe and take a look inside. it takes alot out of you though, especially if your going in heavy. not something you'd consider doing more than a few times a year...

that being said, its still out there, except they tend to be alot older than the people that frequent this board [they usually got 20+ years on meta]...

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, but I've been pretty deep into the "acid scene," though I think that wording simplifies something really beautiful. When I was 15 me and a close friend dosed for the first time. We ended up in the back of a squad car tripping balls, getting yelled at by his parents for an hour, and staying up all night talking and hallucinating in his room.

It was the first time I'd ever felt anything spiritual. It was like all my life before acid was just meaningless. I had ambitions and questions that would never have crossed my mind before. I don't think any description of an acid trip or any portrayal of such a thing can do it justice. The experience is nothing like I had imagined it to be, it was so much more deep and profound. I remember the next walking around in the park thinking how good it was to be alive.

Over the next year I took acid frequently and experimented with other psychedelics, always trying to delve deeper into those strange worlds and thoughts. I came to be friends with a lot of heavy acid users and some pretty major dealers. I had friends who would go on roadtrips to other states and come back with 10 vials and a bible's worth of blotter.

I would trip at least once a week, sometimes much more than that. Things got really crazy for awhile and after one of my main dealers got busted with enough acid to put him away for life I decided to cut back. My sanity started to return and I realized I wasn't treating acid with respect like I had the first several times I did it. It wasn't a spiritual tool anymore, it had just become my recreational drug of choice. I quit doing acid for a long time and have only recently starting tripping again. I find the experience much more rewarding and beautiful now than I did back then.

If I had to say what has changed my life more than anything else, I'd probably have to say taking LSD.
