Will a water filter work for CWE.
I'm out of coffee filters and I'm curious if a water filter will work.
You know the things that remove impurities from tap water so you can drink it.

Re: Will a water filter work for CWE.
Those water filters claim to filter out around 99% of impurities in water. What makes you think that it won't filter out your goodies?

it probably got most but not all of it. thats why it still tastes bitter. pour some lemonade in there. it comes out clear but still tastes a little lemony. same deal.

Re: Will a water filter work for CWE.
You always see threads in B&M about BLTC. This thread is a good example.
A: Will a water filter work instead of coffee filters for CWE
B: No
A: Fuck it, i'm using the water filter
*Thread turns into flames and Lulz.*
Peace.

ok....so thats 100mg of codeine...... that is nothing
Idiots who do CWE don't fucking understand!!!! APAP is water soluble, just sgnificantly LESS soluble then codeine. Thats why it works. Idiots who use alot of water for 25 8mg codeine pills still get a shit load of APAP. What precipitated is the water INSOLUBLE filler/binder which does nothing.

Re: Will a water filter work for CWE.
You was right, it didn't work...
The surprise, it overwhelms my little brain.
You do realize that those things represent a bunch of companies competing to the specific purpouse of eliminating foreign chemicals from water, right? We're not just talking a fuckload of activated carbon - which would have still probably munched your codiene to shit - but instead we're talking progressive monomolecular sieves, multiple polymeric strands nanoengineered to near-irreversably bind various aspects of a wide array of every functional group under the sun, and whatever other magic that several multibillion dollar research and development divisions of several competing companies can manage to dream up for the specific purpouse of keeping the codeine from ending up in your water?
The epic facepalm of patrick stewart is somehow insufficient to summarize the full depths of what this thread represents. Congratulations.

Its still mostly APAP as well - if you take 8mg pills to be 500:8 APAP:Codeine, that's 12.5g of APAP total in 25 pills like you stated. In order to dissolve that amount into water at 21 degrees C, you would apparently need 1.875 litres of water. (1g/150ml @ 21C*)
I appreciate that some people use more water than is nescesarry, but thats usually like 50ml rather than 20.
BTW, in my experience, you're entirely correct about the large amounts of chalk and binders - there's usually ~100mg added on as binders & other crap in 8:500s. (a pill just weighed 0.615g for me)
