Default Bring it up?

I can't decide if I should talk to her about it or just not bring it up at all.

We met each other here as first year uni students. She lives in Chicago, and I'm going home for summer break to Atlanta (they're about 1200 km apart for you non-Americans). Before we were together, we were pretty much best friends since the beginning of the school year. I like her and care about her a whole lot. This is the first serious relationship for both of us and it's pretty much going better than I could have ever imagined.

Anyway, we're going to be away from each other for a pretty long time this summer. Lately, shit hit the fan with two of our mutual friends who have been together for more than two years over infidelity, and it got me thinking. Now any reasonable person would never consider cheating if they were in a happy relationship, of course, but that doesn't change the fact that humans are imperfect and tend to fuck up on occasion.

I have several attractive female friends back at home I'm probably going to be spending a lot of time with this summer. Some of us have some past, um, history, which ended only because I went away for school. I am fully expecting having to turn down some opportunities because I am in an awesome relationship with an amazing girl that I wouldn't even dream of hurting. And I'm questioning my ability to do so for two months. On one hand, I feel like if she and I talk about this before I leave for the break, it might make her uneasy, worrisome, jealous, etc. But on the other hand, I want her to know the truth about what I'm really thinking, because I feel like it's the right thing to do. She is both extremely logical / rational and stubborn at the same time, if that makes sense.

Again, I'm not planning on fucking up. I really, really don't want to, because it will cause so much stress and emotional pain that I really don't want to have to deal with (or hide), and don't want her to have to deal with it either. It's completely not worth it. But to say that there's no chance this could ever happen would be a lie. I'm just trying to be realistic. So, totse, should I bring it up? Or not? If I did, I was thinking I'd say something along the lines of "you know I care about you a lot. You saw what things like this do to relationships.. look what happened to our friends. I don't want this to happen with us. But I think we need to both just realize the possibility. We're going to be away from each other, we're going to be tempted... but you and I both know rationally it's not worth it."

I'm leaning towards a no, but I want to know what wise old (haha, yeah right [except for jack]) totse has to say. Thanks.

"A bunch of girls from back home want to fuck me. But don't worry, I won't. ;)"

That's what she's going to hear.

I hate to be a cynic but this is just one area that never works out. Summer/long distance relationships always fail.

That's not true, there is a way to tell if a girl is going to cheat on you. For every orgasms you give her you have a one week where she will not cheat on you. So on the last day before you leave you need to give her as many as you can(8 at the least). Good luck

We've not had sex yet and she is a virgin. So your advice is not only unwarranted but rather incompetent as well.

I trust her; I expect her to trust me back. I'm more worried about me than her.

Just got to trust each other. It's stupid, it defies logic, but it's got to be done for any relationship to work.
