Default What apple products do you own

So I thought it would be interesting to see what Apple hardware the posters in Cult of Mac currently own. I figure that I will start off the list

-Performa 6300.

It wasn't my first Mac (Mac IIci) but it is the oldest I still own. It was actually given to me through a program at my school. It still runs but I dont have the original monitor anymore. It still has ClarisWorks and Mavis Beacon on it. lol

-Power Mac G3

The desktop one not the tower. I got it in early '98 when I won it in an essay contest. I used it for a long time but I haven't turned it on in years. Im not sure I have all the peripherals for it anymore. Edit: I checked it out today. I have the power cord but nothing else. At least it works.

-iMac G3

I bought this in the summer of 2000 and it was the first Mac I actually bought. At the time it was the top of the line iMac The slot loading 500mhz Graphite. It was when I truly knew I was in love with Mac. In 2001 I moved to a school that used only PC's but I kept using my iMac as my desktop. It first came with os9 and I used that up until this year when I upgraded it. I got a new desktop so I decided that to keep it useful I would have to upgrade

-PowerBook G4

I owned a PowerBook G3 wallstreet for a while but I was not really into laptops until a few years ago. In lat 2002 I bought the PB for work and I have since fallen in love with Mac laptops. It was the first machine that I owned that came with OSX. I had used OSX at work and school but none of the machines I owned had it. Its the Titanium style and is still useful. Its pretty slow but it has an airport card so I use it for surfing sometimes.

-MacBook Pro
This is one of my newer ones. I was bought for me by my work in lat 2006. 17" 2.4ghz Its still my work horse on the road and I use it a lot at home. Also my first Intel Mac

-Aluminum iMac

This is my newest machine. I bought it last August. 24" 2.4ghz 3gb of Ram. This is my baby, I use it for all of my work at home. I considered a Mac Pro but I realized that I really didn't need that much power and I could get what I needed out of this beauty. Im on it right now.

-Assorted Monitors
Mostly CRT but a one LCD. There are 6 in total. I really dont need them but my work was getting rid of them and I couldnt stand to see them go to the trash. I use the LCD with my MBP sometimes and I have hooked up 3 of the CRTs to my iMac. There kinda useless though, they just take up space so I think Im going to sell them soon.

-iPod

3rd Gen. 30gb. I use it when I travel long distances

-iPod nano

2nd Gen. 4gb I use it for everyday use and at work

-iPod dock (2)

One at work and one at home

-AirPort Extreme
802.11n

-Wireless keyboard

So what all do you own and what's the story behind it.

I own:

**Mac II si
Still have the original monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Needs HD. Not in use.

**Mac Classic (needs to be cleaned internally before powered on, works though)
An all-in-one. I bought it at the Salvation Army for about $20 as-is, no keyboard/mouse, but the IIsi stuff works with it.

**iMac 366MHz G3 (working but not used - collecting dust currently)
Bought this for my sister a long time ago. Currently has 256MB RAM, 6MB VRAM (Rage Pro), 6GB HD, OS 10.3, but it might be running OS 9.2.2; haven't use it in awhile.

**iMac 266MHz G3
What I consider my first "real" desktop. Bought it new when it first came out. It ran OS 8.5. Now it has an 80GB Western Digital 7200RPM HD, 512MB RAM (Maximum for this model), 6MB VRAM (Rage Pro), OS 10.3.9 and OS 9.2.2 (although I rarely, if ever, use OS 9, but I like having it around). I use it everyday for basic word processing, web surfing, audio. It chokes on any type of video though (in OS X). Good little machine that has served me well through the years.

**My 802.11g Airport Extreme router
Still Kickin'

**Broken iPod Shuffle (pack-of-gum-shaped ones)

**Macbook
In my revision, I noticed that I forget to list my MacBook. It is a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I bought it the day after Thanksgiving (U.S.) at the Apple web site 2006. I got $100 off the listed price and free shipping at the time. It has 1.25GB RAM (hope to max this out to 3GB soon - yeah, these machine support 3GB, even though Apple doesn't let you know so: http://tinyurl.com/37vrt3 ), 60GB 5200RPM Internal HD (I also have an External 160GB 7200RPM HD via Firewire 400), Intel 950 GMA GPU with 64MB VRAM (um, yeah), and it's running OS 10.4.11 (holding off on 10.5 till I need a real reason to upgrade).

**iBook G4
This used to be mine, but it is now my sisters. It is a 1.07GHz G4, 512MB RAM (hope to max this out for her to 1.25GB), ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 with 32MB of VRAM, 60GB 4200RPM Internal HD, running OS 10.4.11

My sister has about 2 or 3 iPods, different models, but I have none.

Peace.

Power Mac G4 Cube - 500MHz PPC G4
It's old now, and just used for music purposes.

iMac G4 - 1.2GHz PPC G4
I found this iMac G4 while dumpster diving for computer parts, I was amazed someone would throw this out, so I took it back home, and hooked it up (The Startup disk was missing and the CD-Drive didn't work) after about a week of waiting, parts came in and Bam! I got a new mac

iMac G5 (iSight) - 1.9GHz PPC G5
This was my first mac I purchased on my own, it's still one hell of a beast, and I find it rock solid compared to the Intel Macs.

iBook G4 - 1.44GHz PPC G4
This one I got a few months after the iMac G5, I only got the iBook because I really didn't need the power of the PowerBook G4, This one is now used as a permanent Firewire Hard Drive.

MacBook Pro - 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo
This was my third mac purchase, I had my doubts on the Intel architecture when they first announced it, but I found myself needing more than what my iBook G4 was offering so I bought the MacBook Pro.

20 GB iPod 4th Generation (Monochrome)
My first iPod, it was 20GB iPod 4th Gen. Monochrome, now used as a removable Hard Drive.

30 GB iPod 5th Generation (Video)
I bough this iPod with some birthday money I got, I had tons of movies already loaded on my iMac G5, so there was a reason for ditching the old 4th Gen, and going for the 5th Gen. (I don't watch videos on it anymore, so I feel I wasted money for no reason).

16GB iPod Touch
I bought the Touch because it looked awesome, and it finally offered WiFi .

2x Airport Express Base Mini-Stations (a/b/g)
My first Wireless router, bought it along side the iMac G5.
