The only kind of nitrous ive done is out of a whip cream bottle. This weekend i plan on buying a 24 pack on canisters and i was wondering how long the high last? i assume its not long like the whip cream so is it safe to hit it for a whole hour? day? Also can to much make you black out? and can the drug make you hallucinate? Is there any good drugs to mix it with cause i have some OC and i think i might be getting some fungus too. Im on house arrest so i have alot of time to experiment. thanks

yes its safe to hit for as long as you have gas in your balloon. your body only metabolizes .004% of it. that means its almost entirely unchanged when you exhale it. so keep the gas either in the balloon or in your lungs for as long as possible

yes, if you take enough to deprive yourself of oxygen you will black out. dont use a mask or bag or anything that will keep you inhaling it if you pass out or you will die of asphyxiation

it does make you hallucinate in a way. you'll see what i mean once you take 5-10 breaths straight and your whole body turns into a ball of fuzz.

nitrous is popular with ravers becasue it goes well with club drugs like ecstasy, acid, and maybe mushrooms.

I also have a question about the catridges, if you don't metabolize much of it, why couldn't you just keep exhaling into the balloon, taking hits for a looong while, while also sharing the same balloon with others if only minor amounts are absorbed initially?

I don't believe 0.004% is right. You're probably all quoting one, dodgy internet source.

It does take a while to get into your system, longer than you can hold it in for, so you have to inhale and exhale continuously into a balloon, but it's not at the level where you can pass balloons round groups of people and everyone gets fucked.

I just ordered 48 cartidges on last friday, how fast can one take these things down? Is that a good amount for someone who wants to do a bit of it?

When my friends and I do whippets we buy a box each. 48 will last for a little while... Nitrous is a wierd drug, you can do hella in a night and not think about it for a month.


I agree with whoever said you can't pass balloons of the shit around a circle. We pass the cracker and balloon around the circle, and you have to crack your own shit.

You will need Nitrous in a balloon or plastic bag for this.
& only the nitrous, there should be no air as well as the gas.

To get the most out of your nitrous you need to hyperventilate first.
That means breathe real fast untill you start to go dizzy.

Your body gets overfilled with oxygen, so that you can hold your breath longer.

Then empty All of the air out of your lungs, All of it, every little bit of air.
Practice all that if you have too.

Then inhale the gas, try to get it all into your lungs.
Hold your breath hard.
Squash your lungs using chest pressure so the gas gos into your blood faster.

About now everything will go buzzy, like your lips, face, head, body.

Hold your breath untill you absolutley have to inhale air again.
Now exhale the Nitrous back into the balloon or plastic bag.

Now hyperventilate again real fast untill the nitrous buzz starts to go away.

Now reinhale the Nitrous gas again.

Hold your breath & push again.

Wow, lots more buzzy.........


Homemade cracker.

You need,
Clear plastic tubing, larger internal dia than the gas bottle, about 6 inches should do,
Sharp nail,
Hammer,
Plastic bread bag, or balloon (make sure theres no holes in them, check again)
Plug to fit one end of the tubing.

Plug one end of the tubing,

Hammer the nail right thru the plastic tube about a inch away from the plugs inside end,
Now pull the nail back into the plastic tubing so the sharp tips now inside the tubing,

Where the empty nail hole is, insert the neck of the gas bottle (you might have to heat the tubing or the gas bottle or enlarge the hole so the neck will fit inside the hole.
It should (has too) make a good airtight fit.

Now put the bread bag or balloon over the open end of the plastic tubing, squeeze the air out of it.

Move the nail around & shift it so the sharp tip is nestled into the lead seal on the gas bottle.

Now balance the hole thing so the gas bottle is vertical, the plastic tube is horizontal & the gas bottles base is sitting on the floor or solid base.

Bash the nails head with the hammer, the gas should come out & fill the plastic bag or balloon.

Things that go wrong,
Theres a hole in the plastic bag, duh.
Theres a hole in the balloon, double duh.
The gas bottle spat itself out & shot around the room, ah shit!
The whole thing fell over.
The bag/balloon wasn't sealed over the plastic tube, oh uh duh.
There was air in the bag/balloon, ohhh, ah ha!

Things to look out for,
The gas bottle shooting out & smashing the light bulb (true)
The gas bottle freezes up, heat the bottle up a bit in warm/hot water first.
It helps to use two people so everythings steady.

An extra,
Its called "Laughing gas" NOT because it makes you laugh but because the sound you hear goes all 'echoey cohy ohy y'
That 'laughing gas' bit is I guess is a common misuse of the words.
Also it affects/effects the higher frequancys too, so do this to heighten its effects.

Blow up a balloon & spit a bit on it & rub the wet spot so it squeaks. Keep doing it.
Or use polystyrene on a window to get the squeak.
Turn the high frequancey tone on your music up a bit.
