I use to love taking xanax but every time I do it now it's fun while I'm high but eventually I pass out and wake up the next morning and my whole body just feels like total shit. I feel horrible mentally and physically. This only started happening once I started my love affair with klonopin. Ever since then whenever I take a xanax that happens, and I counter the shitty feeling with a mg of klonopin and I'm feeling fine and the feeling doesn't come back again unless I take xanax.

Any thoughts on this?

It's not withdraw. I've never taken xanax or anything for that matter in excess to cause a dependancy. Once in a blue moon I'll reach for my stash and grab for a bar of xanax, pop it, feel good, next morning = feel like shit, etc.

I feel great after some klonopin the night before. Perhaps I am just allergic to xanax which is why my body reacts that way...

Clonazepam has a much longer half-life, so you might not notice any withdrawal/hangover (or not associate it with the benzos because of delay).

You've probably let a mild addiction creep up on you.

My two cents: I always advise against xanax--shit is WAY addictive and the withdrawal is hellish and lengthy. I got really strung out on it, got to having blackouts when I took it--especially when I did alcohol on top of it.

I was in withdrawal for almost a year after I kicked. Dysphoria, mood swings, sleep disturbances, the whole nine yeards.

Benzos are fun to try but they'll hook you when your not careful and withdrawl was the shittiest thing I've ever felt/still feel.

Thats why you need to toss the xanax and discover valiums. I take those, pass out, wake up ...feel like a million bucks. I can sleep any amount of time and NEVER wake up feeling identical to that after taking valiums.

After my xanax runs, i felt that extra shittyness the day after taking em. Thats why im never buying them again unless i get a super good deal.

i don't take xanax. Whatever there suppose to do that is pleasent they do not do for me. Xanax likes to make me lots of money though.

I would leave it alone. Xanax makes you not remeber stuff and then stuff happens.

I love Xanax, I've just become aquanted with it, but already I see that this is the drug that was perfectly made for me, euphoric, yet not the speedy euphoria that coke gives you, and not as slow as dope, and I don't generally get the hangover effect, because I only take 3mg at a time 2-3 times a week.

In my experience drugs are always better in moderation, sure a 2-4 day coke binge is fun while your on it, but boy will you regret it when your out of money and can't afford the coca.
