| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Anyone know anything about Levodopa?
It's a part of a prescription drug called Madopar. Basically, it converts into dopamine once it crosses the blood/brain barrier. Sounds pretty cool, right? What's the potential for abuse of this drug? Any experiences? Oh, yeah, a link:

Re: Anyone know anything about Levodopa?
considering your seemingly "drug seeking behavior" as in to get high on anything possible...
NO.
but in a holistic approach, it is a good supplement.
I have been using l-tyr, and dl-phen for more then 5 years. Sometimes experimenting for lengthy stretches of time with high doses.
l-tyr is the precursor to L-dopa IIRC
I find l-tyr very beneficial, probably the only supplement which i have used for such a long time.....great effects.

What I love about BLTC is that, among all the bullshit, you're bound to get at least one worthwhile answer. Not that I like what you said, but thanks.

Re: Anyone know anything about Levodopa?
Use it as a primer for amphetamines. :)
