Places to trip
I'm thinking about tripping acid again (I've only done it at friends houses, very enjoyable, we just watch TV and shit lol). But I've heard setting can have a huge impact on a trip. Is there any certain locales you totseans search for when going on a trip? Or do you just try to get as comfortable as possible? Maybe a place in nature or going to see a movie?
Just looking for some ideas, thanks.

Re: Places to trip
Most people here are going to say nature.
That aside. When I use to do LSD the best times I had were going out on it. I did half tabs for a bit to get a handle on it and then started dropping the whole thing. It was fucking great. Your perception of people/situations/conversation is so amazing. I was going out to clubs/pubs that I am familiar with. And I don't goto big commercial clubs, for a lack of a better description, I'm more into rockier places, even some party-time electro shit. But yeah, places with cool people, not the whole jock/slut thing that would have hurt my head and eyes.
I know it's not for everyone however I had a blast. Take a half, head out with some friends to a gig and see what you think.

Re: Places to trip
The beach or a lake. I triped by a lake in florida, and the water looks fucking amazing. I sat on the dock for an hour just staring at the water. The little waves look like computer graphics or something. Try it, you'll see what I'm talking about. :)

I used to live off of lake joseph(sp?). Its about 10-15 minutes from orlando. The coolest thing about the lake is that it is infested with alligators. Its one of the most gator infested lakes in America. If you go out at sun-rise or sun-set and just chill for a little while you are pretty much garunteed to see a few floating by.

What?! Do they take local children from their beds at night and secret them away to their underwater lake hideouts and eat them?
This is incredible.

In a nutshell:
Basically what it comes down to it is insuring you trip in an environment where you feel mentally and physically comfortable.
-So this will vary upon individual. An experienced user may find it fun and feel comfortable to be outdoors in public
while a first timer would most likely be best suited tripping indoors.
What's important is to make certain your comfortable and that you have a sufficient amount of time set aside.
Lastly, make certain the day you choose to trip is a day when you feel most dandy. ;)

Lol, beleive it or not they are scared of people. They wont get near you on land. You just have to use common sense. Dont go swimming in the water, dont try to feed them, dont walk small animals up and down the shore, etc.
In florida, you are more likely to get struck by lightning, then to be attacked by an alligator.

Re: Places to trip
If you're in Florida, there are tons of parks and shit to go to.
Find some trails, those are always tons of fun!
Don't drive, not because it's dangerous (it could be, it isn't for me), but because it gets really boring and than you build up this comfort level to the car and you just want to stay inside of it. At least, that's me... don't know why.
And the water definitely looks digital.

Re: Places to trip
For me, I just need a place I can lay back and relax (grass works fine), a place I can be warm enough, a place where i can at least go out to smoke cigs, and a place where I can play music. If it fits those qualifiers, and doesn't have too much traffic, i'm happy.
