Today I woke up and I decided to take 30 mg of adderal to get some work done. I parachuted it and about an hour later I just seemed very irritated towards everything that was happening. I would be easily bothered by things like people asking me questions or if I couldn't think of a good thing to write in my paper.
The previous night I drank quite a bit and smoked a little. Has anyone else had this experience before? It got me a little worried, I did not like feeling like that. Do you think I still had alcohol in my system and that may have combined bad with the drug?

I take that dose for ADHD and at first I had the whole angry problem but it went away pretty fast like a side effect on an SSRI.

Though when I wasn't prescribed it and I took it, to get high or get shit done, in higher doses I never noticed that side effect. Never got angry or irritable. Not even when mixed with Alcohol (Which usually gets my anger going).

I really don't know why it happens. I do know it's a normal side effect though.

maybe the fact that you took a stimulant might have something to do with it

Have you been taking it at all other then that one time? I took adderall 3 days out of a week or so, and the last time I took it I felt exactly what youre talking about. Maybe you should just lay off for a few weeks before trying it again.

As i speak im on 20 mg's railed.
I feel wide awake and its 1:18 am of which i would normally be sleeping by 11.

How often do you do adderall? what are your usual experiences with it.
It's odd that you had a bad time on it because frankly it puts me in a great mood and I feel like im a hero and im friendly with everyone!

Everyone has slightly different reactions to every drug so its possible that its just you. Next time try a dose of 20 mg maybe 30mg was just too much and just made you irritable.

Irritability is a known side effect. I mean for christ sake, that side effect is listed on a god damn poster on my wall, if it's there, it's all over the net.

Also my highs are generally like ruggishbone's when I abused it.
