I'm about to use a cold water extarction technique on them, how many would you reccomend using for a first time user; about 5'10 with a medium build.

Firstoff there is not 500mg of codeine in them. That is the measurement of APAP aka Acetaminophen/Aspirin. I'm a nice guy so did some quick research and found that you probably have 30mg codeine / 500mg APAP tablets.

For a first timer, try popping about 5. It's going to take awhile to feel them, maybe an hour or two. If that doesn't cut it for you redose after 3 hours of your first administration or better yet wait for another day and maybe go for 7-8.

You may itch a little bit as well so if you can get your hands on some Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) or antihistamine, pop 1-2 of those with it. That should be in almost any medicine cabinet.

Oh alright, so that's 8mg of codeine... so you should be shooting for around 100mgs for a good dose. That's 12-13 pills meaning you don't have much to worry about. 8 pills is only 4g of APAP and while it's probably not safe for your body, people (including myself) have taken much more. Just don't be stupid with it seriously.

In summary, you don't need to do a CWE, just pop them all. Although it really wouldn't hurt to do it.

All done, I hit 16, but I think I fucked up on the CWE because I didn't ccrush he tablets up enough. It was mostly a powder but still had solidus lumps throughout. Even into teh final stages the lumps were visable in teh water, but I necked it anyway.
