So I begin taking Zoloft today the small little blue pill, just to see if im depressed or not and should I really be doing this does it alter your brain chemistry permanently? Will I be fine if i stop taking it after I feel what its like and its effects.
I've read some about it being an SSRI and well I will research it some more.

But if any of you have any knowledge of it and if I should know of any adverse effects or bad effects can can happen IF i consume illegal drugs.

Im a regular weed user , I use opiates more then weed though, I use adderall (dexamphetamines) when they are around but i havent used those in about a year, thats really about it. I dont do the tussin anymore which is good because i hear it can cause serotonin syndrome if used while on anti-depressants.
oh and I dont drink, alcohol makes me feel like shit, thats all its good for IMO.

SO, feel free to post information on SSRI's and drug combos. anything at all, maybe some SSRI's potentiate drugs hell I dont know.

Won't mess with your weed. Will make trips (acid/shrooms) alot more intense. Could be dangerous with cocaine. Not sure about anything else.

It all depends if the zoloft agrees with you man. I was taking it 2 weeks ago and it made me feel like shit. Turned me into a fucking zombie. Ended up getting muscle spasms and shit. Was switched onto effexor xr and I'm alright. Also, taking it won't show you if you're depressed or not - you should know that yourself already. And, no I can't see it effecting your weed use at all.

wow, i posted this a while ago when i took my first zoloft.
I took 2 vicodins and I was higher then before , I was TOO high I went to the toilet to go throw up.
Just yesterday I took 3 vikes and wasnt that fucking high.

dont use dxm or tramadol, or other serotonin acting opiates.

you wont feel mdma, so dont even try, but you wont get bad effects.

i wouldnt risk stims, the general consensus on this forum varies on whether the stimulant + ssri combo is safe, but i wouldnt risk it.

ok i fucked up then turns out I didnt take Vicodin , what I took was propoxyphene (darvocet) i believe these are synthetics like tramadol, (i do trams whenever their around).

Anyways im gonna stop taking this medication because even on the first day I fucked up and I hope i didnt do permanent damage by taking those two together.
My overall mood waking up today was better then usual, although I do feel somewhat apathetic.

i doubt there would be any harm or interactions on your first day taking zoloft.

it takes like a month to build up therapeutic doses in your body.

If you want to do something interesting, pop like 200-300mg of sertraline and smoke a bowl. If you're crazy/dumb enough to do it, you'll have a fuckin blast man.

But yeah, when on Zoloft you want to avoid many of the mind altering substances. DO NOT DEX, that's a given. I mean, I would but thats just me. Careful with alcohol.


Zoloft sucks imo, like someone above me said, I became a fuckin zombie... horrible mood swings and I even almost hit my mom one time I snapped so bad. That's when I kinda realized somethin was amiss.
