3 cuttings of peruvian torch. each a foot long and about 3-4 inches in diameter. i see all kinds of San pedro preps, and all the preps i see for peruvian torch are for the consumption of the dried powder. i have fresh stuff, can't seem to find it anywhere. also, i'm not trying to get into and crazy chemistry, so just the best method that doesnt require a damn chemistry degree.

LOL you get shitty hardware store chems. I agree, lab grade is better, but it's only common sense to test the chems you get from the hardware store before you use them. I've never had a single problem.

You guys try too hard at bashing people instead of giving a useful answer or shutting up.

The cactus can simply cut and eaten in its wet form...or you can dry it in a dark place after cutting it and then put it in a coffee grinder and encapsulate it. when you cut it up, remove the waxy outside and spines. leave as much of the green part as possible. that is the good stuff. If you don't feel like doing all that work then you can throw the whole part minus the core in a blender, then strain out what you can of the spines and then cook the goo with some lemon. The tea is disgusting though, so you may want to then move onto some extraction or drying method.

Before you cut up or prepare the cactus it is good to keep it in a cool dark place for a week or two so that it increases in potency. That is, if the person you bought it from has not already done that.

P.torch can be a lot stronger than San Pedro so only start with the amount of one of your foot long sections or maybe 1.5 feet.

Whatever you do, i suggest wrapping it in newspaper and putting it away in a dark place for about a week while you do more research on the subject.
