Right, I was drunk as fuck two nights ago, and already had 3 10mg ambien in me that my doc had prescibed, so I obviously wasn't thinking straight at all. Unfortunately for I had a few syringes in the house and I attempted to inject a pill. I missed the vein and put it in my arm and now a a rather sore bruising there. A small lump aswell. It's alot sorer than any previous sites but it's more annoying than anything. Is this seriously dangerous I know it was fucking stupid so ease up up on the flaming. I want serious advice. Will it be cool or should I confess up to the doc as I've to see her on wednesday anyway?

IMO call poison contol and see if there's anything you should do. It's better to be safe than sorry. They're probably suggest that you go to the ER though.

Get a baggie and fill it with ice.
Then get a large bowl and fill it with warm/hot water and toss a soft cloth in it.
Put the baggie on the sore spot for about 5 minutes. Take it of then switch to the cloth in the bowl (wring it out till it's damp first).
Do this over & over for about an hour or so. You might have to switch the water in the bowl after awhile as it gets cold.
This will help with the swelling and pain. Afterwards maybe apply some neosporin(topical antibiotic) to the site.

if it doesnt go down in a week, you might have to go to the ER and have it lanced. like if it keeps getting bigger and shit. i had to do it once, the doctor was a dick, he only did a local anethestic, with lidocaine. they cut it open and drain out the puss. hurts like a motherfucker if they dont knock you out.

some docs are alot cooler than others, this dude i know his doc gave him morphine and knocked him out when he lanced it. i was in some small town when i had mine lanced and the doctors look at addicts like the scum of the earth in small towns.

The swelling seems to have gone down significantly now and I can run my hand over it without much pain or any signs of a lump. It's just bruised as fuck, but who gives a fuck about that. A bottle of wine, and 9 cans of beer. really really fucking stupid. I had never got ambien before and didn't really think anything much of taking one while drinking. Boy was I wrong. Blackout central. Remember nothing at all. A friend that was driving me around that night told me that I was convinced that bushes along the road were sheep - lots of freaky looking sheep all over the place. He also said that at one point I got him to stop the car quickly for no reason. Then I jumped out of the car, ran somewhere and appeared back with a "DIVERSION-->" sign in my hand talking absolute shite and then I put it in the back of the car.
