Salvia.

i heard of the drug awhile back, and wanted to try it since it was legal and all.
my friend told me it was really scary for him, so it was kind of a turn off.


then CNN just had a thing on salvia today.

i proceeded to watch videos with kids tripping on salvia on youtube, then i read all the info i could find.


now i'm motivated to go try it.

keep in mind, i've never smoked pot just because i can still tell my parents i dont smoke weed.
but i've experienced the effects of pot before.


should i try salvia? is it really that deep and enlightening of a trip?

and who else here has tried it?

I like it. You have to hold your hit for a long time and get ready to forget time and see some freaky shit.

Try it, I did it once and tripped pretty hard. I forgot what I had taken and how to move and was basically glued to my chair. It was scary for a little bit, but once you get past that its a pretty cool experience.

i did the "blue" kind from this headshop, the packages didn't say the concentration but blue was the highest level.

anyway, i remember feeling like i was stuck in my chair. i tried to lean forward and it felt like something was pushing me back.

My mates tried it the other day... and wasted my fucking salvia. The smoke was too harsh for them, they coughed half way through the hit and it seemed to stop them from breaking through, this was through a bong. So dont be a pussy, get an entire full lungful of smoke, hold it for 30 seconds and you'll break through.

I guess you don't know what breaking through is. With salvia below a certain dose the effects are quite mild, you feel stoned and a bit giggly, this isn't breaking through. My god you'll know when you have broken through.

I hate that shit. Made me feel good for a couple of minutes, and then I come down and feel like crap for a half-hour. Ive tried it twice and it did the same thing both times. I wouldnt even bother with it.

I tried 10 x today, its like a 5 minute shroom trip. The bad part about it is you can't understand what is going on. It's too fast for you to comprehend anything that is happening.

Well, when you are in a loud room with 7 other people with a lot of noises and distractions and one of them says, "you guys wanna try this legal drug I saw at a smoke shop today, my friend said it makes everything spin around and your body feels all tingly, then you laugh a lot."

Having done no previous research and not having the slightest idea of what they are getting into they say, "yeah, lets try it."

This would be the wrong for a few reasons.
Horrible environment, recreational situation, no research has been done, their minds are completely unprepared.
This will result in waisted salvia because they will smoke it wrong, and mixed in with the horrible environment, a horrible experience will happen.

You can't control what he says or does, but you can always control how you react to it. Have you considered which choice is the wisest?

Trying to have control over him only creates temporary happinesses, a +1 for your ego, the fulfillment of a simple desire that is now gone and part of the past, if it was ever fulfilled at all. Not caring, and simply choosing to be happy creates a lasting happiness, a greater fulfillment which applies to any situation.

I've had mild experiences like that, so it's very possible he isn't lying. My first time smoking pretty much all that happened was I got the salvia gravity and when I talked my voice sounded like E-40, so I started rapping.
