So this summer I'm going to Vancouver, most likely stopping in Amsterdam on the way (no direct flights). Both Amsterdam and Vancouver are very relaxed when it comes to weed, and Vancouver weed can be better then Amsterdam weed. However, the hash in Amsterdam is top of the world. And I want to bring a couple grams for me and friends to try in Vancouver. If caught smugling two grams, would the penalty be any worse then if just caught with two grams? In Vancouver they'll at worst just take it away. But then another thought occured to me, would I be able to mail it? Hash is pretty dense and would most definately fit into an envelope. Do they use dogs to look for drugs/explosives in envelopes? Any other tips or tricks? If the penalty is perhaps a criminal record for smugling 2 grams of hash, I'm not going to risk it. But if mailed they can't prove anything.

It's safer to just mail it with no return address.

If you look straight at the airport (short hair, dressed semi well, no bob marley/tie die shirts) they wont look twice at you. I saw 3 people freak out at the last minute checking onto the flight and put something wrapped in a napkin in the trash bin like 2 seconds before they got checked. They didn't even look twice at me and my friends, just searched our bags for liquids/guns and let us go on our merry way.

You gotta think of the sheer number of people trying to sneak hash through the Amsterdam airport, do you honestly think they're going to stop and search EVERY single person? The people fucking LIVE in Holland, they could give a flying rats ass about some stoners trying to sneak a couple grams of hash outta the country. Seriously, this isnt the US where hash/bud is the ultimate demonic plague killing your children and eating your family. They know whats up.

Hell, I even saw a guard roll up a spliff right in front of the airport.

Edit - the 3 kids who freaked out didn't even get searched, and they threw the shit away right under the guard's nose.
