The deal is I wiped my hard drive on my laptop. My laptop doesn't have any floppy or cd drive's. So I was wondering what you fine people thought would be the best distro to put on a pendrive and load up if possible. any help?

If there's no floppy or CD drive (unless this is a Macbook Air) I doubt your BIOS will support booting from the USB. You might want to try to remove the harddrive, install GNU/Linux on it using another system, and then put it back in.

If you know you can boot from a pen drive, I think Linux Mint has a USB tree.

here are my labtop specs.
* Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz
* 1GB 533MHz DDR2 RAM (2 x 512MB config)
* 80GB 5400RPM HD
* 14.1-inch WXGA screen
* Integrated graphics (Intel Media Accelerator 950)
* 24X CDRW / DVD Combo
* Windows XP Pro
* Dell Wireless 1490 802.11 a/g and built-in Bluetooth

Also my laptop does support usb thats how i was able to wipe it . UBCD was easy to load onto a pen drive linux is proving harder for me.
