Honestly, I'd make sure whatever glass you buy is done by an artist over the mass-produced thin glass. Glass blowers are everywhere, so hit up your local head shop (or rather someone else) to find out who blows their glass.

really man, all you have to do is go in the headshop, pick out your piece (they will let you see shit/explain it to you without ID) then ask to buy.. if they ID (there's a good chance they won't, the places are quite dodgy obviously for what they're selling and if they're down to make a big sale like a bong they might ignore the ID. point is, show it anyway..) if they don't, then remember where they put the piece and ask a friend..
