A friend of mine called me earlier today and said that he had been on a 3 day drinking binge. I don't believe he had any sleep in that time. He said that he had sores on his face and asked if I had any idea why. I did not know. Totse, does alcohol and sleep deprivation cause sores? What if he was on meth? I was in class when I talked to him, so I didn't really want to ask in a room full of people, but he has used meth and it's definitely possible he did this weekend. I've looked a little on the net but haven't found anything.

Probably not. Last time I hung out with him he told me that since he moved away to go to college he became an alcohol. He drinks every day or almost every day. That was mid-March, and he said that he had used meth a few times and liked it. Before he left for college last fall he used meth 2 times that I know of. The first time was when his cousin put meth in his drink and didn't tell him until he started to feel it, and the 2nd time I know about was when he took an ecstasy pill with meth in it.

It was probably alcohol and meth, but I would assume mostly alcohol. So, what causes meth sores? Is it just from scratching? He didn't mention anything about scratching, just said that he had sores.

Digging and scratching at the skin, usually caused by meth users since they are awake for so long they start hallucinating that bugs are under their skin and try to dig them out. Mostly along the lines of that, your friend hasn't been awake on alcohol for 3 days hes had some sort of stimulant to keep him going. And if you say hes done meth before there you go, tell him to quit being a fucking bullshitter, hes got meth sores.

yeah I can't even stay awake till sunrise, i have fallen sound asleep in: a field, sitting indian style.. a rigid chair, etc.
