Pretty much you're a space ship hitting blocks, but you're flying to any song you have on your computer. The reason why I saw it's fun on psychedelics is because the background interacts with the song.

Pretty cool. I don't often play trippy games on psyches, but when I do it's usually when I'm waiting for the come up.

Lumines on the PSP is fucking great, as is pretty much any game in the trippy thread.

I don't generally smoke weed just to play games but after the first song I played in the game I wanted to bust out my pipe but it took me until about my 6th song played before I actually did because I found the game so fucking awesome.

Audiosurf uses the visuals, gameplay, and (your) music to create a synaesthesia-like experience for the player. Replay value is quite high as there are many different modes and the fact that you have your entire collection of music to play. The game is well worth $9.95 IMHO.

Plasma Pong is pretty fun but I don't think it really compares to Audiosurf in terms of actual gameplay (on drugs or off).
Plasma Pong really does have it's strong point's in it's visuals and the sandbox mode, however it's appeal is quickly dampened in my experience. Doesn't really matter though 'cause the game is free.
