Reason: Active in ridiculously small amounts.
Impossible to OD (practically anyway [maybe many many thumbprints would do the trick]).
Has created huge cultural shifts.
Only downside i can think of is how fragile it is.

It depends on personal preference and what exactly you mean by best. Do you mean most potent, most euphoric, cheapest, safest, etc.?

Out of the drugs I've used, I'd say marijuana. It's the best because it is impossible to overdose, causes no harm to the body, fun mixed with pretty much everything, cheap, tastes and smells good, easy to find, I like to get high.

The most euphoric drug I've taken is oxycodone, but in my opinion it is not better than marijuana, at least not for frequent use.
