So I finally found acid last night on bicycle day. I took it at 10pm and played geometry wars until I started really feeling it (I broke 1 million on acid). When the time came that I felt I should be tripping balls everthing became more clear and interesting. After at least three tries, we made it out of my room.

Walking around a city on acid is amazing. Everything was so perfect; I could feel the happiness in my skin. I spent about an hour or two walking around and looking at things while writing down my thoughts. Flowers were amazing, trees were amazing, life was amazing. The best part of it all was standing right next to a train, just feeling the train move along beside me.

I thought about some crazy shit too: the 60's, why acid is illegal (it shouldnt be), and even trains, lol. I wrote some stuff in a book while I was tripping to descibe how I was viewing the world:

-normal is astounding
-visualizers are like acid for potheads, real life is the visualizer for ppl on acid.
-Everything is an adventure
-the future is our creation
-to really see everything, time must stop to evaluate each detail
and finally
-acid is like glasses that let you see more clearly what you can already see, but didnt know it.

My point is this- everyone should try acid at least once, it is a compleate mind opener. I hope everyone can have as possitive a time as I did.

Hell yes, I felt so profound but the wisdom in my logic was so simple. Also, I didnt even think an acid trip was anything like what I experienced. Amazing.

Wait till you do it mid day and see the sunshine and the colors even more vibrant.

actually the plan for my next trip is to do a day trip and go all the places I went last night and just write what comes to mind.

Try making an interpretive drawing of everything you experienced :D

Acid is amazing, especially once you explore all the possibilities it can add to your art or music or even your outlook on life. It does make me laugh how silly some ideas that were mind blowing on acid seem in hindsight.

I also dropped on bicycle day , around 6pm. I ended up sitting on a dead tree stump all alone in the woods at the peak just staring at the moon and listening to Animals (pink floyd) The sky was just covered in one big cloud so you had this nice pale blue covering everything. It was also a full moon too so that helped.
I also had on an american flag neckercheif and was cloaking my vision with it which was sick since blue and red make purple but for some reason it was green.

*by the way this bicycle day was the 65th anniversary of the first man to ever drop acid. I feel pretty proud of getting the chance to celebrate it this year.


On a side note Anyone else dropout on the anniversary of syd barrett's death last year/ going to this year (july 7th). I know acid is the last thing to honor him with but it seems appropriate

I just hate it that this stuff is illegal. It is simply too amazing to not allow people to use it like a tool.

Maybe on Syd's anniversary a thread should be opened and a bunch of Totseans take acid and just write their thoughts. It could be interesting.

it is an amazing drug and can cause some profound experiences...

my first trip shook me up enough emotionally to the point to where i was at a loss for words for the next 3 days while i sorted everything out... it was the single most happy experience of my life, beating out the happiest things a million times over... walking down the street at 2am feeling completely insane at the peak of the trip feeling what i could only think of as the collective joy of the universe. my first trip was beautiful, acid was nothing like i expected but everything about it was beautiful. i realized how this chemical fueled an entire era and lifesyle...

Yeah , last year we did mushrooms on his death anniversary. Listening to julia dream sitting by a pond. Felt like i was in a utopia. But it seems celebrating his birth is alittle wrong since he just became a man stuck in a womb ever since he went loony in 67/68 which meant he was only 21/22 at the time.

WTF if you had light spaced out visuals on acid then you only took like 50mics.

trust me. I took two windowpanes and couldnt see in front of me except colors and a wirlpool of warped ass shit for 10 fucking hours. not to mention the fact i felt like i was falling into myself and water tasted like death.

I feel like Im less attuned to visual hallucinations because Iv had trouble on several hallucinogens. However, I still feel like I got a lot out of it. I plan to do 2-3 hits next time.

I hear people talking about the visuals of acid like all acid is, is visuals. This is just wrong. The visuals are far from the important, dominating or interesting effect of acid. Its the thought pattern which is interesting.
