So. The other day I took 1/3 a 60mg Oxycontin Pill. I have never taken any Opiates before, and I have not done anything out of the ordinary. I felt absolutely nothing after 2 hours of taking the Pill. No Itching, no nothing. Im quite sure that it WAS Oxycontin. Has anyone experienced something like this? And is there an explanation of why I didn't feel anything.

did you snort it? 20mg is a minor dose, especially if you ate it. if you snorted it might get you high. and if you only got a third of a pill theres no way to tell if it was actually an OC.

No I did not snort it. I just ate it. I did it with my friend who was the one who gave it to me. He had his spine fused a couple months ago and takes a large amount of them for his chronic pain. He said 20 was a good starting dose since I haven't taken anything before. So, next time, higher dose, and snort it?

You have to crush the pill into a fine powder. 20mgs is the perfect starting dose. You should feel it unless you weigh a lot.

Dont forget bioavailability of oral is much higher than nasal however snorting it is still nicer sometimes for some reason.

It's been a year since I got off Oxy's and I had no clue they were making 60's now... Before I made a post like that other dumbass I looked it up first... Anyway, generics won't say OC on them, because they're generic... and most of the counterfeits I've seen look almost exactly like the originals... but i've only encountered the 80 fakes.

IT was...prolly 99.9% fake. I took like 12mg my first time....and i felt it...that was taking whole.

did it look like the one in the pic? People pass out fake shit, say its such and such when its really something else or not even a prescription med. Next time check the markings...

Everyone has different doses. I started out on 40mg, but that's just me. Most people ought to start in the the 20mg (with the potentiation formula!!!) range, increasing dose by ~10mg until you reach a good place.

There is no way they were longer and flatter AND said "OC" on them, because the only pills that say "OC" on them are Purdue's Oxycontin pills and those, as you've seen are all round.

My guess it was one of the Teva brand. Was it green? Or Pink? Or Yellow? Or White?

This is what a green 80mg looks like, if it was a different color, it was a smaller dose; Pink=20mg, Yellow=40mg, White=10mg.

You really should of gotten high off of 20mg with no tolerance. Perhaps you're one of the few people who don't get high off opiates? If you decide to give it another try I would still stick to 20mg I don't think you want to throw up, but maybe you should give insuffulation a go.

The only longer oxycontin pill would be a 160mg, and they are no longer prescribed as far as I know.

Also, Wikipedia says that the 60's were taken off the market, and it says nothing about them being replaced... So where did you get your information from about them still being prescribed?

Okay. Well. Apparently he "read the bottle" Wrong. He says he gave me something stronger now... He says it was Morphine. I really don't trust him at all, or believe that it's really Morphine. But hell, you guys know better than I do. I got a good look at what he gave me this time. On one side it said 60, and on the on the other side there was a 3. What did I take?

you should have felt something.

20 mg oral morphine is equivalent to 13.3mg of oxycodone. so that was a small dose.

you should have felt something though, unless you have any tolerance. you wouldnt get high or have much euphoria but you should have noticed a difference, especially since you were expecting one.

either you're a troll, or you need to look into the phrase "surface area"

the thing noobies don't understand is that the high of an oxy is extremely subtle at low doses. someone who knows what they're supposed to feel like can pick out a high. i've taken 40 mgs, but mostly less. i like to space out my highs. the point is... if you know what to look for, you should be able to pick out the effects of a 5mg dose. i can anyway.

i gave 2 of my friends 20mgs each. 1 guy said he kind of felt it. the other one just denied feeling it at all. if you're one of those guys who's expecting someone WOWing. then take 40mg. don't do oxy at all though in the end. i'd love to chew some perks right now. yumyumyum
